Hi Siddharth , I am in Australia, just say your video for the first time. It was absolutely fantastic, you commentary, the cinematography, educational content, music and most of all your subtle humour. Thank you ! I will continue to watch all your videos. Excellent stuff.
9:46 This practice is called 'Tlawmngaihna' in our language. It's a special practice every Mizo follow everyday. We Mizos always help each other no matter what happens, not caring about our comforts or sufferings. Even if someone is not Mizo, we never abandon them and also help everyone no matter the race, religion or caste. Our ancestors followed this practice everyday and we the new generation also try our best to pass it to the next generation and so on. So that 'Tlawmngaihna' will live forever 😊
The Mizo code of ethics or Dharma moved around 'Tlawmngaihna”, an untranslatable term meaning on the part of everyone to be hospitable, kind, unselfish and helpful to others.
North east is such a beautiful place. Why it isn't as popular as other touristic places. I will definitely visit north east this year, it looks such a serenitic place❤
This is my 2nd video of yours , wonderful brother... morning sunrise birds chirping, good choice of music, some parts of your videos feels taking to a calm meditation specially the part after 5:40 ❤
I really enjoy your videos! It's awesome how you not only explore the places but also take the time to learn about their history. Huge respect for that!❤
Dear Siddharth I am so happy to see your researched videos and commentary… with my gouty knees I can’t travel much but now but I am happy to see through your lenses.
church plays a very significant role in our mizo life, it has been the foundation of our values, culture and traditions our identity and unity for many many years beside being the place of worship, without the church we wouldve been very unorganized and backward as a state it is because of the church you are able to see the mizoram that we all love today so when people say the missonaries came and ruined our culture its quite the opposite.
The letter AW as in Aizawl, Tlawng, Thenzawl etc is pronounce as 'O' in English alphabet, so basically try to read it as Aizawl= Aizol, Tlawng=Tlong, Thenzawl=Thenzol but not to fast. Great Video, the way you edit, mix etc is so fun to watch.
You & ur team are camera genius. Hats offfff... 😮😮😮😮😮😮 I am awestruck..... Brother you all are doing gr8 job. Better u shot a small movie. U all can do it. Most importantly ur narration just wow.
Thank you so much! Though I wish I had a team - most of the time I travel and shoot on my own. Once I can earn a little from TH-cam, I’ll surely have a team and hopefully make even better videos :)
Thankyou, Siddhartha .... for visiting Mizoram. You are one of those Top list of Content creator who has visited MIZ and the shots are just amazing , I was flabbergasted. thank you for showing our beautiful culture, history, tradition and natural beauty. But, there is a small road in Tuirihiau falls where you can see the top of vantawng falls with a boat. If you want to know more i can tell ya😅
@@SiddharthaJoshiFilms i really wanted you to go to Ṭan mountain and see the view. Ṭan mountain may seem like an ordinary mountain, but it has a lot of stories behind it. Some people report that they see a Lasi (Mizo Fairies) and there is a whole revelation behind it. Our Historical brave and fearless Pasalṭha(s) always had a good chance to have a relationship with Lasi's. According to historians, Ṭan mountain is used to be very big and Lasi's used to live there before Christianity entered Mizoram. I really wanted you to study more about Mizo history and you will find it very interesting on God. Also, some of the Old men say that there are some Lasi's left in Ṭan mountain, if that is true I would really like to see them once too
Also, please visit the Rihdil lake and Ṭiau river as it has a lot of backstory behind it. Ṭiau river is where our Pasalṭha(s) and Burmese used to battle
@@relaxigottabecool I really wanted to visit the Ridhil lake this time but had to skip due to limited time. It seems like I should've as the border is being closed soon as per recent HM declarations...
