Points to him being the driver indeed. Especially if there were only 2 occupants in the Lambo. If nobody went out from the the driver's side then there were a total of 2 person in that car. So the only scenario left to exonerate Rice from being the driver is that the person with the white t-shirt was the driver and step over Rice to go out first. Again why would Rice protect his friend and take the blame.

@@Dreamer-3689 It's not domestic violence, and unless it comes out that very serious injuries resulted from this (which would have this approach the case of Henry Ruggs III) I don't know that the NFL has harsh rules for such a situation. I absolutely expect that he would receive a legit suspension over this if he is found to have been the driver, but it would likely fall far short of a full season as well as the "radioactivity" that would get him kicked off the team. The usual process for a player of this promise (not saying it's right, just noting the history) is for him to receive a 4-8 game suspension, "talk to the team", have it say that he made it clear how sorry he was and that he will learn from this, and then once the suspension is over all parties move on and it is forgotten within a couple of years by most fans (barring new wrongdoing).

I'm currently studying to become a Behind The Wheel Driving Instructor in the state of Iowa. This video is one of the reasons why. I'm a Chiefs fan but there is no excuse for driving in this manner. Zero. It's not a "mistake". It's called "reckless endangerment". For an extreme example look at Henry Ruggs. This situation with Rashee Rice could have easily been as bad, if not worse. The very definition of foolish. He should be ashamed of himself. As Dr. Phil would say, "What were you thinking?". Call it harsh but appropriate punishment - he deserves to have his license suspended for as long as the law allows. He needs to issue formal, and written apologies to all involved. If he's not made arrangements to pay for vehicle damages and hospital bills that needs to happen asap! If/when the judge sentences him and he's forced to serve time it will be well deserved. Actions....have....consequences. Whether you are on a football field or driving on the highway. On a softer note I hope he learns from this. I believe people deserve second chances but there are appropriate levels of punishment.

Last May I was in an Uber riding down this exact stretch of road, and we narrowly avoided 2 separate accidents caused by speeding and racing drivers. Almost the exact same scenario that you see here. Texas needs to get serious about getting drivers like this off the road.
