Vacuuming pre filter is fine but not hepa as the gain is little and you could damage the filter..I can't believe sharp is recommending this.

Is it against corona virus with plasmacluster ion technology ?

No guarantee. All air purifiers do, even the more expensive ones, are only to filter dust & other particles, but not any viruses eg covid, cold etc.
Also, the ion tech is unnecessary as it's quite harmful to the environment & self since they contain ozone.
Best defense against COVID? Wash hands and take bath often; plus get vaccinated.
