Hey James I’m in on 5.11 gear for civilian use, they really do make a great product, also checking out the Glock trigger set up for my gen3 19.
BTW I’m wondering if you would do a review of the gun ranges used at this years shoot show. We’re always looking for a good place to shoot.

If 511 could keep it relatively competitive with ufpro/crye quality but besting them by price by like $50ish, I'd buy it all day. If they could at least keep same quality same price point, I'd buy them. Offer lots of sizes like ufpro does though! I feel like they would be more easily available to the American market than other brands, hell being able to walk into my local 511 store and try them in would be tits

@@ClitoridectomyGroyper stitching sucked balls on the pants I bought from them, atrocious overruns I don't even see on stuff from wal mart. Exchanged several times and they were all like that.

I have UF Pro, Crye, Platatac, and 5.11. The first three are expensive but amazing quality. My winter UF Pro gear here in Alaska is godlike. 5.11 is the Target brand of the tactical world and they cater to typical LE contract bidding. I ran the 5.11 Stryke pants as a uniform while doing a gig for six months and they were fine as pants. 5.11's stuff is fine for a department issue, but most end users are going to dump it for UF Pro, Crye, or Platatac if their agency's policy allows. As much as it sucks, making high quality stuff costs money.
That Holosun solar scope sounds great for a backup / plinking rifle.

I bought a Glock performance trigger the moment I heard they were for sale because I knew they'd sell out fast. Just got it installed today.
I thought their triggers were perfection.....

JK Armament takes my best in show for that shotgun can (and all the other innovations in other calibers). Several models are on my watch list for acquisition this year.
I completely understand keeping stock Glock components for a defensive pistol, and I do like their triggers, but various aftermarket trigger and component combinations can make for some really smooth / short / crisp pulls. Conversely, some parts combinations can make for really not great pulls, worse than stock.
That ending was a nice shot at Hop! 🤣
5.11 ought to know that LARPers and airsofters operating in our mom's basement want affordable, quality clothing lol.
Gotta say, the Wrangler outdoor stuff is pretty good too.
I would gladly wear 5 11 pants as a alternative to wrangler if it's built better.
I got my first pair of 5.11 Stryke pants for Christmas and I use them as work pants. They're the best pants I ever owned, even if I prefer baggier wear. Lightweight and durable, like way lighter compared to Wrangler Riggs, but time will tell which one gives out first. The multitude of pockets are great. I hope 5.11 never sacrifices quality. Just save your money, because they're worth it. The stretch out waist is a really cool idea for comfortably concealing. The pants in general are just really comfortable.

The SCRS is amazing because now you don't need backup irons since this is your backup red dot. Unless you manage to get hit with an EMP or take a hit to the red dot, this thing will basically never go down.
Most people will want backups. If anything goes wrong with the dot, just like a normal dot, you'll have no reticle

5.11 should sell the pants to civvies. I'd probably buy a couple pair. Tac pants offer a lot of practical use and it'd be nice to have a non baggie pair. I'm less interested in the top but would still look into what it offers

$300 isn't over the top for a pack, all my Kifaru packs are well over that. Believe my Urban Ruck 2.0 was $420+, my other Kifaru day pack is around $500+ and my big dawg (yes this isn't a day pack actually the opposite end of the spectrum) Kifaru EMR2 was probably $850++. But I love my Kifaru bags and they will last forever. I'm sure that Spiritus bag is gonna be dope AF and worth the $300+.

Good to see SIG hasn't lost any arrogance anymore than their ability to make no more than 5 rifles a month for consumer sale.
By all accounts the SCRS has extremely warpy glass, to the point that you can get the dot itself to warp. I'm curious about it's inclusion here
@@TheHouseAlwaysWins-xs8zd Brassfacts (excellent channel btw) showed in his video that the reticle distorts near edges from lensing. Hopefully its fixed by the release, it's far beyond a minor issue in it's current state and very atypical of holosun.

I’m not LE anymore but I would get a set of multicam 5.11 uniforms to put away for a rainy day. I love the Sig optic and can not wait to put one on my Glock 45MOS and Sig P320. The Holosun thermal looks interesting, my buddies have been trying to get me to go hunting with them pre dawn type shit and I think it could be good for that on one of the new lever action rifles that take ar uppers maybe one in 450 or 350 for some deer.

My wife has been buying more 5.11 Leisure wear and athletic wear. Her one complaint is the logos being so big. She likes how they started color matching the logo to the color of the clothing though. She buys Lulu Lemon and 5.11 is much cheaper and similar she says. Just doesnt like the billboard on them. Wondering if anyone at 5.11 saw this and thought is post it.

I am probably one of the first people who has shot with and owns a Glock performance trigger. It's a pretty significant upgrade over the normal Glock trigger. That said, it's nothing compared to a Canik trigger or at least not as good as the Canik Rival trigger and the Canik Rival comes optics ready with a trigger that can legitimately compete with any pistol on the market and a holster and a bunch of tools and it costs $630 at Cabela's vs $650 for a basic Glock MOS.
I'm just saying. Canik isn't junk either, I have found my Canik to be extremely reliable even with bad ammo. It's just a solid handgun.
