Me too bro! Have you hear Daron’s new band 96 bitter beings? They released an album a year ago and it’s called Synergy Restored. Dude it’s very CKY and absolute nostalgia. Highly recommended it!
I know what you mean my brothers and friends wed do stupid stuff before jackass came out with their stuff. Then when they did we would watch them for days and laugh our asses.
Anyone here in September 2024 reminiscing over the good ole days of Jackass & Viva La Bam? 😮💨 The world is no longer feeling fun and free, just a copy and paste of the past.
@@johngiles6376 same, I realized that watching prank channels and the last social pranks we’ll probably see from JA especially with bam leaving and them being so recognizable now. Glad that I grew up as kid skateboarding every day. Playing Tony Hawk, watching jackass and doing some jackass stunts at the skate park :) listening to CKY, HIM, Cypress Hill, Snoop Dogg etc. Oooooh man the good old days!
man it's like that was the least racist and actually 'safe' time in western history. metal heads were bros with hiphop heads. he's from another country? whatever dude can he ollie? kids just hung out and fucking acted like kids. it's not like that anymore.
This takes me back to the early 2000s when me and my best friends skateboard watch Jackass ,Viva la bam, wild boyz even had the CKY band shirts ah life was great.
Brings me back to the days where we'd hillbomb down the main street of town blasting CKY on the walkman at 3am praying no car would wipe us out or we'd end up in the river at the bottom, my friend had no brakes and I was just sitting on the handlebars of his BMX. Ah to be young and dumb again and throw caution to the wind. Now I'm just old and dumb and it sucks.
Honestly they had pretty good success. Even today a lot of their music sits around 1 million views, that’s pretty rare for this type of genre unless it was in the top charts.
Well they almost did in the early 2000s. An Answer Can Be Found had a single on the rock radio station and they blew up quite a bit from the DVDs and BAM being so popular. Just too much drama between Chad and Daron for them to continue. They never quite reached the popularity of the first 3 albums once Carver City released.
@@elusive_mg yeah and mostly every other person. That’s why they never became big. This is coming from a fan too but you gotta keep it real cmon it’s music for punk heads not every single American
Some people would say because they didn't have many great songs. This one and 96 QBB are the two songs most people know through Bam and Jackass. They never got a push outside of the Jackass ecosystem. Ie., they got almost no radio play (which still meant something back then), they got almost no MTV video play because they were played on Jackass and Viva La Bam so much, so they never really broke out of that niche market.
2003 skating days. Staying out passed dark with the buds and our girlfriends, them watching us skate and then all of us walking them back to their house, picking up half smoked cigarettes on the road regretting we skated all the way across town, go to school the next day and be with our chicks only to do it over again right when the bell rang. Nothing can compare to that nostalgia.

I hope you hit up both the 96 Quite Bitter Beans album Volume 1 and the one this one is off of Infiltrate Destroy Rebuild, if you watched all the old shows like Jackass and the OG CKY 1-4 videos that were pretty much early Jackass lol, you'll recognize a lot of the songs
What I wouldn't give to go back to the days cky was popular, jackass was on tv, and Ryan was still alive and making us laugh. Man the nostalgia from this just takes me right back to highschool. Never thought I'd miss those days, but I do. Watching these old videos is the closest we get to going back to those times.
I always listen to this to being my the nostalgic memories of my teenage years. Watching CKY/Jackass. Skating around with mates. No phones. Life was so much better back then.
grew up listening to these guys and watching cky videos and jackass with my best friend of 20 years until he died in a car crash and i come back to listen to this music to remember the good days. I know how bam feels and it sucks but i cant thank these enough for bringing me back to the good ole days and memories
One of my favorite bands of all time thanks to every member of the band idk why some people only give credit to the singer or drummer the whole band gets credit
This song was and is still badass to this day!! Miss the MTV days where Jackass, Viva La Bam, Wild Boyz and Nitro Circus would play 24/7. Now MTV is all about drama shows.
lol They need to go back to that vibe so badly. I don’t mind them playing ridiculousness a lot. That’s a great show, but whomever is in charge of the other shows needs to and has needed to be fired lol idk how they haven’t even attempted to go back to shows like that

Honestly they had pretty good success. Even today a lot of their music sits around 1 million views, that’s pretty rare for this type of genre unless it was in the top charts.
Right? I'm not a genius about music or anything but this song is insanely good.
It's wild that they weren't bigger, having been the band that got recognition thanks to skaters like Bam Margera and Tony Hawk.
