@@testiclegaming810Hate to burst your blimp but this is not Industrial Metal it Nu-Metal because the band brought a lot of Industrial and Alternative Metal to their Nu-Metal sound
@@testiclegaming810 Nu-metal is literally a blending of various alt metal genres....funk metal, rap metal, industrial metal, along with elements of electronica and hip hop. Static-X were deemed to be a nu-metal band that strongly leaned more towards industrial (just like limp bizkit leaned more towards rap metal/hip-hop). Nu-metal is more a catch-all term for bands from the mid-90s-mid 00s that had elements of the aforementioned genres, and that made it hard to label them as any one of those genres.
Every time I listen to this song I see Duke Nukem Land Of Babes Intro. One of the best games of my childhood. Games back in the days teaches you to listen for some good rock/metal/hard and generally good music.

I saw Static-X once in concert and it set the bar for all other concerts I've ever been to. So, tonight in my drunken state, I will seek out all Static-X videos and post this comment. Wayne Static, you brought joy to my life. I'm sorry you went the way you did. I'm here and I still love you. Jazz
i always find myself back here every couple months. damn i miss this band.
*salutes to Warner Records Vault*
Imagine: 1999
You are in highschool, going through the motions of freshman year, wading through the stereotypes as you try to make it to the end of the day. You get home, exhausted and pour yourself a Mnt.Dew, and turn on Mtv. Total Request Live with Carson Daily comes on and you see that Static-X is in the top 5. You then go on your computer to launch Napster and load your new online game, EverQuest. Life is good.
Replace mtn dew with surge and Everquest with Ultima Online and that was me.
Yeah, I do feel like those days were optimal, in retrospect. I think the last time the world was *that* carefree was that year in which dubstep got really popular. It was downhill from there, barring that brief period in which Pokemon Go was at its peak and everyone was walking around all happy.
Tony Hawk 2 for me. God I miss the late 90s.
@@whokilledzekeiddon what goes up must always come down. Those times will be back sooner than you think.
napster and eq at the same time, u mustve been rich
Everyone in this band looks like a custom character from a Tony Hawk game.
I love that
So they should.
This song sounds like it would be in a pro skater game
LouieTheGreat Actually this song appears in a Skate game named Street Sk8er 2 for PSX.
@@spectrum9441 Was Sk8er 2 any good? I remember the demo for the first Sk8er being awful compared to THPS.
Ahh...Static X, my very first concert. I was 4 months pregnant with my son when I went to see them. Good memories. ❤
Your son is probably an awesome human being now 🤟🏻
Moshing since the womb
When you gave birth to him, did he come out yelling you push it? Lol.
these lads are amazing intense fabulous and some great metal or nu metal or whatever you wanna call it....
RIP Wayne.
Saw these guys on the side stage with Slipknot at Ozzfest '99. Loved them ever since.

Man, Vegeta's band rocks.
It's true
Vegeta “The Hype”
😂🤣😂
Here because Dan mentioned it and, uh, yeah - I can't tell what the lyrics are just by listening to it, AND it's also not leaving my head for a while.
Been listening to this album for over 20 years now. Wisconsin Death Trip is in the fabric of my being ✨
I got to see this band play at one of the ozzfests from the EARLY 2000's. Wayne had amazing stage presence. Rest peacefully dude
Me too!!! It was an amazing lineup. I was lucky enough to be backstage and got to take pictures with Wayne Static Kerry King and Vinnie Paul. Unfortunately not DimeBag but my friends did. May Dime Wayne and Vinnie R.I.P.
2023 brothas, who’s still jamming out to this fkn masterpiece!?👹
Oct 2024. I have cd
Static X are one of those bands I'll never get tired of listening ever. I keep getting older but this will never change in my playlist
I got to see them twice between 1999 and 2003 in Las Vegas with Powerman 5000. Great concert!
I saw that awesome song randomly on tv back then when i was a kid i was glued to the screen! Godamn awesome memory i tell you. I had a similar haircut, but much shorter. I didnt know nothing about this band, but it was great! RIP sir and thank you for your music
I miss the late 90s- early 2000s nu-metel. Didnt know good we had it.
Hate to burst your blimp but this is industrial metal
@@testiclegaming810Hate to burst your blimp but this is not Industrial Metal it Nu-Metal because the band brought a lot of Industrial and Alternative Metal to their Nu-Metal sound
Apparently it’s frowned upon and I grew up listening to Nu-Metal when I was 10 years old
@@testiclegaming810 Nu-metal is literally a blending of various alt metal genres....funk metal, rap metal, industrial metal, along with elements of electronica and hip hop.

Its sad that Wayne passed what a talented man and i saw interview with him he seem like sweet man r.s.p i love this song
I still PUSH IT here... love from the The Philippines Rock On!
My dad used the think he was saying "DOWN in the bushes!!! YOUU in the BUSHES!!!!"
Stevie Vehorn my dad said same thing

My dad did too! My mom knows the correct words though
when I first heard this song I thought he said yeah the horseshit XD
haaaa
Best pumping iron song ever!!! 💪🏽
birdman 2211 its in my gym playlist! Slayers warzone is brutal as fuck too for working out
+birdman 2211 Awesome group, but every gym session for me starts with Nitzer Ebb's "Getting Closer."
+prying eyes thank you for making this known to me wow, as for me, Killing Grounds by Front Line Assembly is a good pump
Diego Calva Have you heard FLAs remix album of Echogenetic, titled "Echoes"? It feels so perfect.
Ooh I LOVE Front Line Assembly
Searched for the Garbage song, got this. Completely on par.
Those were extraordinary times for music.
I had all of Static X's albums. I remember when I heard them for the first time in the radio and got hooked.
R.I.P. Brother, off to join Peter Steele, Dime and countless other legends.
EQOAnostalgia don't forget Drowning Pool lead singer ! That guy was a great one !
Одна из самых крутых групп, не забуду вас никогда! Покойся с миром Вэйн!
God bless you Wayne for your unique Industrial style of music, you have left a legacy...
Can’t believe I was exposed to this banger by a comedy let’s-play channel. Now a freshly minted Static-X fan though!
Honestly, I just learned of them in an FB thread about vocal fry.
48 yrs old and I am just digging into their catalog.
Dude, we are close in age. This was definitely on my radar/rotation back in the day. Glad you are in tune now,
Bro I'm 46, howd you miss this??? Anyways, better late than never
Machine is the best album!
If Wayne was still alive today... I can just imagine the amazing music he would still be creating!!
This song never gets old...
Never gets old
I've listened to Static-X since I was 8. This band literally formed me as a human being. Thank SX and rest in peace Wayne
I seen them in Worchester Ma at the Palladium Feb 16, 2024
Great Show!
Every time I listen to this song I see Duke Nukem Land Of Babes Intro. One of the best games of my childhood. Games back in the days teaches you to listen for some good rock/metal/hard and generally good music.
Lol so ironic i was playing that the other day my dad played the shit outta that game and eventually got turned onto their music from that and i ironically grew up to love the album great album by the way none of their later stuff was as good
same here. if it wasn't for Duke Nukem I wouldn't have discovered this awesome song and band.
Serious Sam for life
You were a horny toad up in your room with land of the babes discovering Static-X
StrangerOman >good music
>Static X
Pick one
Never cared for nu metal but I absolutely loved Static X and Spineshank (I felt that both bands were more industrial metal than nu metal actually)
Still relevant as ever and forever part of my teenage years.
Spineshank will always be known as the music at the best part of Freddy vs Jason to me.
thats cause they really were more industrial metal
Masterpiece. Wayne x we miss you
Yes. It's a time of year to be thankful. And I'm not taking for granted, the creative musical talents I've seen from 1985 to 2004. Epic!
R.I.P. Wayne Static. Almost 8yrs since you've been vone😥😪😭
Almost the end of 2020, and Im still here listening to Wayne. RIP. Just about the only thing that got me through 2020 is listening to Static-X!
