Saw 96 Bitter Beings on their latest tour and Deron and the band were great. Deron took time to take fan requests too even though it was a small crowd at our show.
I've followed Malevolent Creation since before the first album. Hanging at the practice warehouse with the guys, jammin, doing keggers, constant shows all when South Fl. Death Metal scene was starting, evolving & as was being pioneered by bands such as Malevolent Creation among others. Obviously Brett Hiddman was the original and best. That being said, life and death goes on. Since Brett departed the band and even sadder, his passing, I've only hoped unsuccessfully to find a vocalist for this band ever since. This is another new era with M.C. and this new vocalist Daren. I never heard if him before today. I just listened to a recent show they did in Helsinki with him on mic first time (for me). Surprisingly, he soynded quite similar to Bret. Not as strong powerfully, but still better than some of the other vocalists since Bret. You'll never replace him, obviously, but first shot... I'll still listen to you further, welcome to band. Please do Malevolent Creations legacy right. If Phil accepted you, then i too gotta give you the chance, Run with it brother! R.I.P. Bret Hoffman...
Wow never thought that Deron from CKY and my favorite Death metal band of him World under blood will sing with Malevolent creation, discover it by surprise though hahaha i was searching malevolent's 10 commandments then this interview pops up.
he probably just has that weird photographic memory like Gary Holt where he just remembers everything like a movie. Personally I have alot of memories from early childhood
Maybe because he first did a long US tour and straight hopped into EU tour with I think 1 days of rest or something. I guess he was just a bit tired. :) Very nice guy he was and we chatted for a long time when the interview ended also. :)
@@chaoszine I wasn’t trying to be rude or anything, I figured it was due to touring considering the other bands that were audibly playing and doing sound checks. Just was joking around.
@@Heretical You have a point. It was a great interview but the guy kind of look strung out. His lips are constantly shaking as if he's under withdrawal symptoms or something. At some point in the interview he closed his eyes a a good 30 seconds, I thought he was going to pass out.
This dude's riff writing style is so unique and interesting. Never writes anything boring.
This is my top influence musically. Deron is a legend.

He is an amazing songwriter. World Under Blood is his best work to me. Pyro-compulsive is my favorite song.
I agree , world under blood is top tier
Pyro compulsive is my fav as well! One of very few perfect albums
Yeah. The guy is a riff wizard.
❤ Undiscovered Numbers & Colors ❤
Under the Autumn Low was a banger as well
Reasonable and well spoken guy. Pretty humble too, which is rare. He is a good addition to MC.
Miracly.
Miraculously?
Great, honest interview. I appreciated his view point spanning rock and extreme metal.
Christ is Risen 👣☠
Fantastic interview! Deron surely is the perfect MC frontman. And really humble and funny as well

Yo! You're killing it with 96! Your timing is great!

Good interview
So glad to see Brandon Fraiser playing music
DERON!!!!🫡
who's playing in the backgroundddddd
Aaaand he’s already left Malevolent Creation.
Anyone knows why?
"I was 2 years old." There's interviews with him where I just roll my eyes at his embellishments.
I thought the same to myself when he said 2. I'm thinking, really bro, 2? U have ANY memory from 2 ?
Yes, I'll admit I kinda rolled my eyes too. He was probably 6 years old and probably spoke without thinking. He looks pretty nervous.
he probably just has that weird photographic memory like Gary Holt where he just remembers everything like a movie. Personally I have alot of memories from early childhood
Too legit to quit
Whys he look and sound like you have him at gunpoint?
