    Thank you for sharing your Axpona experiences. Much appreciated. Imo, the youth demographic increase is due to introduction of 'affordable ' good sonic quality equipment and the reduction of the 'elitist' stigma of 'audiophiles', that is being driven by wonderful people like yourself, Geshelli family, Randy Messman, Bob Fonsecca , and others. Take care, my friend.

      Thank you Simon. I agree with you. I just wish their were more affordable products at the show for those just starting out. The problem is that the show organizers keep the cost of exhibiting high to keep out the entry level stuff. Too bad.

    I wish I could have been there, but had a rare family visit and that trumps hobby stuff every time. You are the FIRST TH-camr to detail what the toroidal amps were at the Geshelli room! I did not know if those were "Giuseppe", if monoblock or stereo, anything. Thank you for your review and I look forward to hearing more about Jamie Audio - sounds fascinating.

      Thanks Chris. Those Geshelli amps sounded very good. Geno is doing a redesign possibly with bigger caps and some flashing lights!! Yay! Flashing lights!

    Hi Ed. Well done. The Teac and Amphion room was good. Happy to see Teac. Grew up with seeing Teac. In the other Amphion room I spoke with the CEO. A very nice man.

      Joerg, Thank you. Those little Elacs sounded phenomenal for their size. Everyone in the room was taken aback when the started to play. Brand new. The show was their debut (no pun intended.) BTW, they are not an Andrew Jones design. The Advance-Paris stuff is gorgeous, well built and sounds powerful. I lust after an A10.

The speakers are made here in the US and the company's North American HQ is in Canada. $16K! Ugh, I am heartbroken as I will never own a pair. Thanks for watching

      @OldGuyHifi  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Shawn, Thanks so much for reaching out. Great speakers. A lot will depend on the space you have to accommodate a full size component like a Yamaha unit. Do you want to run a full surround set up, I., e., 5 speakers or just 2 and maybe a sub in the future? I can defiantly recommend the Yamaha AS series integrated amps. They are great performers. If you want to reach out to me via email, I would be happy to try and help you out. Email me at oldguyhifi@gmail.com. Thanks.
