Just an observation and I could be wrong but, I have noticed that when you're reacting to a song that hits you in the feels you have twice as many interruptions and comments. It's as if you're postponing the inevitable emotional break and tears that are coming. It's actually cute.

Written by Vince Gill for his first wife as they struggled in their marriage and a huge hit for Vince. Sadly, their marriage did not survive but Vince went on to marry the lovely and talented singer Amy Grant and they seem perfectly suited to each other.
Great reaction, Jenn! I saw HF live last week, and the show was fantastic. I really love Austin's voice, but I must say that the group hasn't missed a beat since the change. They sang plenty of their older songs sounded amazing.
Great analysis of this Vince Gill cover. The song is good but the story going on is what hits on all cylinders emotionally.

Hello Jen, sorry I have been absent so long. House got halfway destroyed by a storm on May 31st. Trees fell on it and of course lost all power. I am finally back and just loving every minute of this reaction. Thank you for making my day a happy one. Love and Peace to you and yours.

Makes you stop and think am I giving 100% into the relationship or allowing the distractions around me to ignore what is really important to our relationships. I think this song was an extremely smart choice by our guys! The other Adam feature was upbeat and with more punch, this one was lighter and a little more airy in places, making me very excited for the future! Their group blend was near perfect on this one so his voice will fit nicely when he is not in the lead! That was my most concern with a new member! Great job Jenn on the video and the music! Thanks for your analysis. Another beautiful song by Home Free. Nice that they featured Adam Bastien again on lead vocals for this country song. The background harmonies were great along with Adam's beatboxing. Also love the very touching video that went along with the song. Our lives are so busy these days but we need to connect with those we love in small special ways.

I got to see them live again last week. Unfortunately, Rob was sick and couldn't go on. They used a pre-recorded Rob and had the stage manager Frank stand in for him. It was hilarious and was still a great show. Bastien fits well, and they sounded great. I've already pre-ordered the Christmas album.I'm excited to hear them with Straight No Chaser.
Great, and fun, analysis as usual. You always pick up on so many sounds that I miss, but I couldn't figure out what you meant about hearing "a sound" before the word rain and mishearing the lyric. It must be you're listening with your UK ear while I listen with my Michigan ear (I live 80 miles from Bastien's hometown). Everything he says is perfectly clear to me! LOL. Get ready for some great Christmas music coming soon from Home Free.
I think it was the k from "like" because he doesn't hit it till the beginning of "rain" -- "falling lie...k-rain". When run together, it could sound like "grain".

The actors were friends of the videographer for this video, Jimmy. They did an awesome job.
I think it's great that they put Bastien in the lead for the first songs, but it would be interesting to hear him in the backing vocals with someone else in the lead as well.
Btw, that's nor real rain they are using. If you look closely you'll notice that none of them is actually wet. It looks good nonetheless.

Life can get busy and a few years back i realized that this was happening with my wife and I and i felt like we were starting to drift apart and we were arguing alot so i told her lets start doing a date day at least once a week. no electronics or distractions. We now or doing date day twice a week with no electronics and just us doing activities with each other.

The video kinda showcases a fear I have for the world. It's already happened to a lot of churches where everything has become so commmercialized that there is no feeling or passion anymore. With our everyday lives getting more and more hectic it's less a about the reason and more about because society says so. I mean look at any IRL video and half the people are staring at their phones. There's no human connection like there used to be. It's virtual attention and not peronal.
I know HF kills every cover plus original songs they do but please check out Vince Gills original of I Still Believe In You. He is beyond good by a mile.
I think Bastien has a similar quality voice to Vince Gill.

Hey darling! Don't get me wrong; I like Adam B's voice, but I don't think he is moving out of his comfort zone. Perhaps, I'm a little spoiled and looking for more texture to that lead tenor voice, and perhaps, I'm not giving it enough time to show up.
