It's been pretty much confirmed that time lords individually can get better or worse at deciding what kind of body they would like to regenerate into. The doctor is known for being particularly bad at this, but for timelords such as the master it is seen as a lot easier to have a vague idea of what to turn into. As for the 2nd doctor's regeneration, we all saw that the timelord council specifically chose the 3rd incarnation of the doctor.
you've also undersold the doctors physical abilities. They're able to sense the flow of time, when the timeline changes, when there is a fixed point in time that cannot change. A lot of solutions to problems are facilitated by their expert knowledge of phycology. the doctor can share and erase memories and is somewhat telepathic.
the doctor didn't "forget" about their previous incarnations it's believed when they regenerated into Hartnell the timelords removed all memory of they're previous incarnations implanting them into the matrix and forcing the doctor to undertake Initiation to enter the academy "again" as a sort of poster boy to glorify the academy the doctor didn't want to take part in this and so stole a type 40 Tardis and ran away and never really stopped running until at last the 13th incarnation stumbled across the matrix while battling the master which still held all the memories of the doctors pre Hartnell incarnations the doctor then overloaded the matrix by adding the memories of all current 13 incarnations.

1 major thing wrong with the video is when you say 11th could regenerate anyway but they explained in the latest series all this, they changed the doctor and basically reset so the ‘first doctor’ thought they were the first and they sent him more regenerations, we’ve seen in 12th doctors end regeneration forces itself upon the person and he desperately tried to stop it. John Simm as the master also had to suppress the regeneration energy after being killed during 10ths run. If the time lords didn’t give him the energy then 11 would have died
@@eeurr1306 I don’t think you understand it properly if you think it was explained. it was also explained that the timelords stripped the infinite regenerations from the doctor pre 1st, so there was no evidence of what they did and started a new cycle, the 11th doctor received a new set of regeneration cycle at the end of his run because he had nothing left and the timelords needed him to survive. The doctor may be the timeless child but regenerations have been altered for them. We’re not even sure if the current cycle is 13 lives or infinite because the circumstances and im sure will be explained one day on the current limitations

Your last point about the doctor's regeneration is wrong, he can't regenerate infinitely, that was just another terrible plot point Chris Chibnel added to ruin the show. At the end of the 11th doctor (Matt Smith) run, he was in fact dying because he had used up his lives 1st-8th the the sister hood os khaan (that's also a thing you got wrong, it's said kaan, not karn) use an elixir to trigger regeneration- war doctor (9th doc) what we would call Christopher eccleston, but he is actually number 10, then David Tennant-11, David's doctor got shot by a dalek, he regenerated but didn't change his face-12, and finally Matt Smith-13. At the end of his life, the timelords granted him a brand new regeneration cycle, which we have seen 4 of already (also you accent is terrible)
This might be the old rules but I remember two more rules. 1) A time lord neefs to be in T.A.R.D.I.S. to regenerate. The one exception to that being the sonic screwdriver. It contains enpugh time energy for regeneration to occur. This is why he is so particular about giving it out to anyone. However if a timelord is outside the T.A.R.D.I.S. and has lost his sonic scrrwdriver he is if you'll pardon the pun screwed. Though if the timeless childs case I suppose the rules don't apply.
they kinda changed it master for example could regenerate without a tardis or sonic the tardis rule changed to a symbiotic rule basically the time lord and tardis form a symbiotic relationship like how matt smith could travel longgg time without aging but when he left tardis to protect the town/village what that was he started aging so as long as the tardis and timelords are together timelords dont age cause of their symbiotic relationship
@@alkrolyd this is correct, timelords have the ability to regenerate as apart of their physiology it has nothing to do with what room they're in. The doctor normally regenerates in the tardis because it's a (relatively) safe space to regenerate and recover from regeneration.

At the end of his life, the timelords granted him a brand new regeneration cycle, which we have seen 4 of already (also you accent is terrible)
damn…

This might be the old rules but I remember two more rules. 1) A time lord neefs to be in T.A.R.D.I.S. to regenerate. The one exception to that being the sonic screwdriver. It contains enpugh time energy for regeneration to occur. This is why he is so particular about giving it out to anyone. However if a timelord is outside the T.A.R.D.I.S. and has lost his sonic scrrwdriver he is if you'll pardon the pun screwed. Though if the timeless childs case I suppose the rules don't apply.
they kinda changed it master for example could regenerate without a tardis or sonic
the tardis rule changed to a symbiotic rule basically the time lord and tardis form a symbiotic relationship like how matt smith could travel longgg time without aging but when he left tardis to protect the town/village what that was he started aging so as long as the tardis and timelords are together timelords dont age cause of their symbiotic relationship
The Doctor doesn't need to be in the TARDIS to regenerate.
@@alkrolyd this is correct, timelords have the ability to regenerate as apart of their physiology it has nothing to do with what room they're in. The doctor normally regenerates in the tardis because it's a (relatively) safe space to regenerate and recover from regeneration.
