I have a suggestion. Find the A harmonic and then put second finger down to play the C. I love your videos. Wish I could have taken lessons from you when I was younger.

Help me understand why is the bow hold is didactly taught as you did on your bow hold video and good players actually play with a different hold that is quite a bit more tipward or rostral on the bow with the 4th finger actually ahead of the ferule.?? Students start out with the didactic hold and as improve evolve to this more forward hold?
0:20 I have a trick that works great, and it's a little pencil mark 😉 Some might say it's cheating but I don't see the competition so whatever makes it sound better.
