I get a free movie ticket for my birthday and got a free Starbucks once too. Also, because it was that obvious it was my birthday, I got a free cocktail so that was nice. I'm from Belgium btw. Mostly it's just when they see it's your birthday, that they give something. Like how I once got a cheaper cookie because 1. I couldn't find the money and 2. Because I was talking to my sister about how it was my birthday 😅
In Germany if you go out for your birthday, the waiting staff might just refrain from treating you like crap. If you're really lucky, they may even smile! Maybe once. 🙃😘🇩🇪

I feel like I am slacking off on my birthday. At most, I find time to get a free coffee or pastry. Here are some other place that do a free item: Einstein Bros. Bagels (free breakfast egg sandwich) Baskin Robbins (free ice cream scoop) Cold Stone Creamery (free ice cream creation) Panera Bread (free pastry) Denny's (free Grand Slam - just show ID to prove birthday, no "club" type sign up) FYI - Red Robin also does bottomless broccoli, as an alternative to french fries.

Thanks!! Where in Florida? I (Deana) used to live there! It really depends on the state and city. There aren't too many nationwide "healthy" restaurants. There are a lot more local healthy restaurants. There are always "healthier" options at some of the big chain restaurants. A chick bowl from Chipotle is one of my favorite go to options!

That‘s fun in the US to have Birthday. One time I should celebrate my birthday in the US to have the same fun 😀 In Germany you get free entry in some indoor swimming pools and in some amusement parks. But it‘s only on your exact Birthday a day after you don‘t get free. And you have to show your pass for the birthday date. I never used such free entries.
Kinda. You have to get an addition to your european drivers licence . It is in German: " Internationaler Führerschein." You can get it in your local "Rathaus or Landratsamt". Bring your licence and a Photo and x Money( how much don't know )

In the U.S. our waiters and waitresses only earn about $3 per hour. So u NEED to tip them. The reason they make so little is because our customer service industry is based on performance. Its not usually a great way to earn money, but the system is based on the customer experience. So if u had a good waiter and friendly, u leave a better tip. But ALWAYS at least 20% of your bill :)
Here in Germany (and elsewhere in Europe), there's climate protesters everywhere. In the US, people casually drive to lots of fast food chains for free food. Kind of puts things in perspective, at least a bit.
We have to drive a lot more in the U.S. because most things are farther apart. Also a side note, even with all cars in the world, methane gas from livestock animals produces much more harmful gasses in the air than cars
