      I also hear Magic Box is great as well. I actually went with one called "Stream to your car pro 11". Does the same thing as Magic Box, but was $100 cheaper, has a much cooler intro, free shipping, and I got it within 4 days of ordering it.

    Once the Carlink kit connects, does it start to play music from Spotify automatically?

    • @reviewsandmorewithjeff

      If your phone is already playing Spotify it will pick up where it’s left off. If no music apps are on then you’ll be presented with just a blank media player to go to whatever app and play it

    So the device connects to your radio through the usb?

    • @reviewsandmorewithjeff
      @reviewsandmorewithjeff  ปีที่แล้ว

      correct.it connects to your usb, then wirelessly connects to your phone to utilize carplay, so you can leave your phone in your pocket/purse or charge it in any fashion you choose.

    Do the steering wheel buttons still work with the Binize? And does it play videos while driving?

    • @reviewsandmorewithjeff
      @reviewsandmorewithjeff  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yep! Controls to change volume song etc all work the same. Video in motion works as well! I added a Bluetooth keyboard to make typing easier but otherwise it basically turns your display into an android tablet

      @@reviewsandmorewithjeff dang. Keyboard is cool. I wonder if Picasou 2 or carlinkit does that

      YEP! I still use the binize one alot whenever I want to watch movies or stream any video, but just due to the time delay to get into the carplay app its not my favorite for daily use, so I use my carlink 5.0 and its great!

    Do you have to unplug the unit each time so that it doesn't kill your battery? or does the unit shut off when the vehicle is off?

  • @--JohnDoe
    @--JohnDoe ปีที่แล้ว

    Why can't I use my phone instead of these? You have to connect these to your phone anyway, it would be faster to eliminate the middleman.

    • @reviewsandmorewithjeff
      @reviewsandmorewithjeff  ปีที่แล้ว

      Because I don’t want to connect cords - this is a wireless option to remove needing to take anything out of your pocket but still CarPlay connecting
