The Plane Mate Tour Striker was a very good learning tool when I started golf two years ago, it was very quick to learn the correct swing plane and how to rotate with the body in the swing.
I picked up a speed stik (promoted by Vijay back in the day) at a yard sale last year. I was planning for it to be more of a stretching tool but I swing it the both right and left handed as I warm up and it has made a big difference in my game. I dropped 2 full points on my index in the last 2 months of the season last year
Super Speed sticks... yes they do work, however be cautious about feeding your ego and stick to hitting straight, with more consistency than distance - my perfect baby draw, became a Cut and my miss went from a Hook to a Slice. I've spent more time with injured wrists and elbows and even more money on trying to re-learn a baby draw. Be careful what you wish for as an Amateur.
So you went from a draw to a fade… like 90% of the PGA tour 😂 increasing swing speed doesn’t mean you swing 100% on the course mate. The point is raise your top end so your stock swing naturally also increases the speed.
Hi It’s a shame you did not include anything from Zen golf ( Marcus Bell) Might be worth you watching a couple of his videos on U Tube, and take it from there, By Far one of the best golf sites, just watch the change when the participants get Zenned!!! happy Viewing!!
At the minute, they are only available with the mat included. The mat has some useful colour-coded lines on it to help you line up the ball with the right amount of break, which is why I think they're only sold in the bundle - Dan
If you're in the market for something like the DeWiz, the Blast Golf Swing Analyser is a cheaper alternative that measures similar metrics and follows similar principles of training tempo and swing speed. While it doesn't have the shock feedback of the DeWiz, it's a pretty intuitive aid for drilling tempo. For my money, the app that links with the Blast Golf has a bit more depth to it too - Dan

I have been using a GEM for a few weeks. Really like it.
Fantastic news Patrick. So happy you're enjoying The GEM.

Do you know if the Breaking Balls can be purchased without the mat as I already have a Puttout mat.

The super speed sticks have been intriguing me for a year or so now...what do we think lads
I put that grip trainer on all of my clubs.
The Geforce 7 iron is the best training aid I've ever bought. The other 14 of them were pretty awful.
this is a great vlog….I thought the DeWiz product looked good …until I checked the price 😮

@@GolfMonthly thanks Dan, that’s a bit more palatable 😂👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
GEM ??
We totally agree Kevin! Thanks for supporting The GEM.
Better than all these? Having good luck in the bag.
Guys lose the music overlay very off putting…..other than that nice review
Would have been better if we could hear Joel
Come on guys surely you’ve being doing vlogs for long enough now to get the audio right?! 😡
Crappy sound.
No show notes.
No timestamps.
Not good.
I see time stamps and it sounds good 😂
Bought a training aid during lockdown, I won't name it but it was none of the ones in this video, pretty useless, waste of £25!
Just googled Dewiz swing modifier, £556? That's lessons for the next couple of years
