And when I told this to my teachers one of them said that "then you can do job instead, and I also agree with it, and I expect I'm a slave" and the second teacher said "then you will wash dishes right?" I mean why I always have to do a job? Can't I start my own business or be a singer, dancer, cricketer or anything I want? And then then they said "because you are poor" I mean just think about there mindset, first of all they think so low and second they teach us to stay however we are right now. For them Holi is dirty, wearing jeans is bad and being someone creative is crime? I'm a 14 year old girl and if I would said this infront of them I would be the worst in the world, not only for them but my mom and dad also

I practice beatboxing since 5 years but no one, neither in family nor in school, literally no one supports. I like video editting and photo editting, but everyone just see it as a time waste. I just get to listen lots of critising statements. And also I have noticed that they didn't even give importance to sport activities and just focus on completing syllabus. As my personal opinion I also wanted to participate in sports but they didn't organise any. And abt sports day it's just held for junior class students as I have seen other countries they focus on making student prepared mentally and physically but in India it's just abt getting job and getting good marks
I have noticed that in my school personally teachers pick up only those students for school activities whom she knows abt or scores good marks but never tried to give chance to other avg students as I also belong to the avg category so even though I wanted to participate but due to the fear that those students are better than me I just step back and did bother to even try.

Sir I prefer knowladge over marks but my family don't understand my intention behind this. So sir what I do how i handel yhis situation. We all know that marks is not important but our parents are not modern they have limiting beliefs.

I would like to add some points like in a co-ed school teachers treat girls and boys like enemies no girls boys will sit together or talk with each other. I always got this pinching me then why we are in co-ed school we should study seperately then. Due to this mentality boys also don't treat girls in a good way. This mentality needs to be changed.
