Excel - Using Formula Auditing Tools - Show All Formulas - Excel Tips

Have you ever received an Excel file and immediately thought "I hope the formulas are correct and follow a pattern?" Excel has some commands to help with this. They are located in the Formula Auditing group on the Formulas tab. Two that I use in this short video, are Trace Precedents and Trace Dependents, along with two great tips on how to highlight all your formulas at once and display all your formulas instead of the answers.
Trace Precedents are cells that are referred to by a formula in another cell. For example, if I have four quarters of data and each quarter is summed up in cells E15, I15, M15, and Q15 (E15 is Q1, I15 is Q2, etc.) and I want to total the four quarters in cell R15, In R15, I would type =SUM(E15, I15, M15, and Q15). The four quarters are precedent to cell R15.
Trace Dependents are cells containing formulas that refer to other cells. Cell R15 could be used as an absolute reference cell to show percentages.

Hey Chris, The only option I have is Formula Audit in Excel msft 365. I don't see my Trace Dependents, etc...Any idea where it may be hiding??
