This is a must for us Aussies because we sick of getting forced into West US servers despite their are some servers here in Australia! Just recently brought a XR1000 router because of it. Been using this for Halo: Infinite on the Series X & works wonders, playing on nothing but servers that are 17ms meaning their all at home. It's like they want us to have crappy laggy games.
So I have added my console in Geo-Filter, I added it manual with filtering option open for Call of duty. Once I click save it only shows Console but not the game if that makes sense. can someone help with that

How can I force a game to connect to a certain server that I allowed? I have my radius set on the server that I want to connect and still the game connect to other servers. Servers that are way out of my radius and even blocked by me manually. How can I stop the game connecting with those blocked servers outside of my radius? Please help

Except geofiltering doesn’t work on nighthawk routers with pc and appears to have been broken for 2 years from all of the forum posts I’ve found. The same suggestion by netduma mods never works. Still doesn’t as I bought an xr1000 yesterday. Is this problem fixed on newest firmware on R2?
Everything was working good for a month or so power resetted an hard resetted it my latency on my Xbox went from 49-51 to 61 constantly I only play nba 2k an it’s not on geo filtering I have the 1gig upgrade from spectrum their modem an xr1000 router

Great video, do you have to filter in each friend that you play with in order to prevent connection issues? I find that I have to draw a polygon around them and if I don't we can't connect. Also should you host the room in WarZone if you are the one using the Geo filter?
Why is mine so slow??....i have 500mbps internet but im only getting around 35mbps and the matches are choppy and laggy making it a worse experience.... i was wondering if anyone could help me with this
Literally got this to replace my asus because asus doesn't offer geo filtering and it's ass for apex. Literally I have to at least have 4 servers selected for a match to even start without an error if I only do 1 or 2 servers it just throws me out and gives me an error. It blows my mind their is so much support for cod and not much support for apex even though apex is and has been the number 1 played game for years (not hating on cod I love both games). They need to focus on making other games work more besides cod. If I knew it was going to be this big of a pain I would have saved my money and stayed with asus.

I have the RX1000, it was good the first 3 months, but the past 3 weeks have been horrible, i did any step-by-step that a human person can do, and still holding packets burst during the game; MW2 is the game; it happens in warzone and multiplayer, i do not understand what happens with the packet burst situation. i even replaced the router with a new one, and the same thing happened.
If I change country regions does this mean I can then access game serves in that country despite my IP being in my home country ? I’m trying to get servers for a game that has stopped working in my country. Or do I simply change my home location to the desired country ?

Man nothing works. These devices are just manufactured for US and UK. If you are outside of it. No chance of getting any low ping. I'm north of Europe nowhere near these game servers, I can see 38 to 43 ms ping servers on ping heatmap, hoping i'll connect to one of them but noooo even though all my settings are correct, it goes ahead and puts me in a game over 60 ping. Try playing Cold War over 50 ping. So frustrating man. I have the XR 1000 bought it just to play a decent goddamn game. Never worked for me.
I’ve owned the xr500 since it was launched and now running the latest software. None of the settings work as advertised. The geo filter for example, set for Spain, no games found despite the ping heat map showing a server. Ok, server might be down, try Italy… nope no games found. Complete waste of money.
GEOfilter has and is givin me so many problems i have 3 server which are super close to me but i never get connected to them and also also server disconnects quite often , when i set a poly around the closest server to me i keep gettin an error and i cant join a match. if theres a solution for this let me know if not shame on this product
I'll pass it onto the team to look at! In the meantime you'll still be able to Geo-Filter PUBG. We'd recommend setting your Geo-Filter radius to around 1000 miles to start. If you're still finding games with higher ping, reduce the filter slightly
Struggling with Fifa gameplay, I seem to still connect to denied servers, any tips on Fifa settings as most servers are unplayable and AI players don’t move , I wired it still not better, best connection seems to be 2.4ghz on WiFi but still get online issues any help appreciated On virgin media 646 down 37 up

Sadly not. Polygon mode is only available on DumaOS 3.0. We are working with Netgear to see if DumaOS 3.0 can be ported to the XR300. No ETA at the moment.

You can change your location with the red pin icon on the left. You can increase the radius of your filter with the distance bar at the bottom
