To be honest, I can't really imagine a QB in the history of the game who I'd say could throw it farther. AR is the most physically gifted QB to ever play in the league, and it's really not even close.
Regardless of the misses, we've never seen a QB this physically gifted. The 65 yard bombs standing still after slipping. The ball velocity. The speed to juke corners and safeties. Stroud is a very good quarterback, does everything you want a QB to do. Richardson is an alien, he does stuff nobody else can do. Stroud probably gets you more wins long term but holy hell is Richardson fun to watch.
He’s also had less college starts than all the rookies, even going all the way back to high school, I think with this game included he’s only just had a little over 20 starts overall SINCE HS!
He didn't have much time in college (basically one year despite only being in college for 3 years), so this is basically him getting experience. He's going to be crazy good.
If AR can work on that over throw issue and get on the same page with AD he’s going to be special. On to Green Bay. Oh and that defense was soft af today.
I think we've been over-coaching QBs in the 7 on 7 era to play poker by counting cards and hoping they can bust out someone else. Literally just Josh Allen. I hate to say it but if this production continues with a higher sample size we might be looking at a historically great QB draft class here between Stroud and him alone. Bryce Young could be the biggest bust anyone has ever seen and Will Levis could be a mayo salesman 2 years from now and this could still be an all-time class if I'm being honest.
