Thanks Hassim! Yes, help rope works well but it rots within weeks so I am trying this instead as raffia is actually fairly durable. But yes, we shall see what is best. Let me know. 👍🏻
Good question! Probably one growing season is all it will require for some of the roots but proper attachment will take a couple more seasons, maybe another year or two at most.
Terry thnaks for great videos = amazing helpful and inspiring. Question - where did you buy your apron and the leaf pruner - the long one you use for defoliation, please give make model website to get from…thnaks mate
Thank you for your compliment. The apron is something we have made for us at a leather store in Cape Town, South Africa. The defoliation shears are made by Masakuni in Japan, but unfortunately he no longer makes them for some years.
Great video like always. Thank you so much! 😊
Thanks Stephanie. Appreciate the feedback.
That was a cracking watch Terry, really enjoyed it.

Thanks for sharing Terry.👌 I also use raffia but I have switched to Hemp Rope on the second repotting. Will see which is better next year.

Very nice video Terry. For how long you are going to leave the trees until the roots give a good sign of root attach?

Great demonstration and video- is it a good time to prune them as well?
Thanks Shawn. Yes. It is, when they are growing strongly.
