Absolutely - my mother had a local Indian dog(btw, people here are interested only in foreign breeds, in fact army and police too) and she used to feed him only people food, My sister bought some pet food once and he didn't even touch it. BTW, I am getting a puppy next month, so I am refreshing my training skills(I didn't know much earlier, so my mom's dog didn't learn much) and your videos make a lot of sense.
I completely agree with you on feeding your dogs human food......but please know what human foods your dog CAN NOT EAT!! Here is list of foods your dog can't eat.... www.peteducation.com/article.cfm?c=2+1659&aid=1030 Here is a list of human food your dog should be eating.... www.mnn.com/family/pets/stories/11-human-foods-dogs-can-eat-and-5-they-shouldnt I love your channel and I hope these lists helps some.
I suggest dog owners not to use treats to train their dogs completely. There is no need to use treats to train dogs. Just imagine, if there are all kinds of by products, artificial colouring and garbage in dog treats, why do you even need to use them? Giving human food to dogs also is not healthy. Dogs need dog food rather than human food. It just doesn't make sense. Dog food is not kibble or dry food either. It is raw natural diet. You can't use it to train dogs. So, in general, there is no need to use treats to train dogs.
Dogs have adapted to eat most things. And to train an animal the animal must be motivated. Fear can motivate, so unless you use a nasty method then food is the most efficient way. A dogs gonna eat anyway!

I've watched quite a few videos, and I got to see Levi go from chewy pup to obedient lovable dog. Thanks for your great videos!
Thanks, Shoshana! I love watching the early Levi videos -- he was quite a handful! But so cute and sweet. :)
Great advice . Only use Hooman food when training my dog.
