aircraft mechanic in training here.
the tape at 4:12 is indeed aerodynamic tape.
Its used to cover up recent repairs.
For example you had to replace a part of the engine cowling and had to use sealant on it.
That sealant needs time to harden fully.
You use the tape over the sealant so that it doesn't get damaged;.
I am impressed at swiss that he didn't call it "duct tape" like most people think

@@exo69010 Exactly. It just blows my mind. Actually, I've experienced a person who contacted me to look at a video of a 777 doing crazy stuff in X-Plane 11, and he genuinely thought it was real. It took a lot of persuasive action to tell him that the wings of a 777 can't bend 270 degrees, and that something can't just vanish into the ground.

At about 5:40 when you said that was an rc plane i just want to say that it was real. It was the 2015 shoreham airshow crash, and i saw it because that is the airport i fly from. The pilot amazingly survived but multiple people were killed on the road.

@Swiss001 that “dudududu” sound is actually a cabin altitude alarm from the older Boeing 747 SP/ 200. So yes, you wouldn’t hear it now anymore but it does exist.
