also car crash tests are usually at 64kmh i think,and if you do it in the same conditions,same speed,and the crash test map thingy,it'll be real close,and its 180 kmh its gonna get fucking completely destroyed,especially when going straight,and at 120kmh irl a car crashing into a static wall will make it roll itself into a nice circle of destroyed car

The pysics are not unrealistic at all, that's quite the opposite. If you look on TH-cam there are a lot of beamNG vs reality comparaisons, and it's extremly similar to real life.
But the B25 mod materials were not very well coded, so this one is not too realistic

Alright lemme clear some things up
1)cars do crash realistically it sometimes just feels like copper because speed fells slower in this game due to the lower field of view compared to real life/ other racing games
2) beamng is still in development, early access just startet in 2013
to me the speed feels way faster,especially since even at low speed you can spin the fuck out and at high speed you spin out and your car is pretty much vaporized,infact,i'd say it feels faster than even need for speed most wanted 2005 at times,perhaps because the handling at 200kmh in nfsmw2005 is like 60 kmh handling in beamng+an extra bit of oversteer/understeer
nice! you can setup your flight stick in the control configuration, you can just assign everything on your flight stick to vehicle specific controls when you have selected a plane! I tried it once and it was pretty fun!

Same, only issue is he’s not very familiar with it, saying animations instead of soft body physics and also how ‘weak’ the vehicles are, even though they’re very realistic.
@@therainbowdoggo Yeah, not many people see the potential of the game. BeamNG is often used for destruction. After all the accurate physics are something special and I also like messing around with them but I love BeamNG because of the freedom. You can do anything from realistic crashes to configurating your own cars. Many people see just a destruction game but it's so much more!

Those are not crash animations, this game went to a whole another level and used soft body physics, there are also bad mods that have bad ibeam wich well, makes the crashes look wierd.
I do understand that swiss probably tought that they were crash animations since he has never heard about crash physics, he only knows crash animations that are used in flight simulators, i mean car games like need for speed shift kinda use animations tho but still.
Also the panel that lists all of the controls is in the top right corner, you just gotta click it and it should stay there.

Did you know that you can customize the controls in BeamNG.drive so that you can use the joystick? I have a joystick for flying planes and it works very well.
It's in Main Menu > Options >Controls > Vehicle Specific Controls. The B25 Mitchel has an elevator, rudder, aileron, and throttle axis. You can find the other keybinds there as well.

ALSO: the reason why modern cars seem to disassemble when hitting the sligthest obstacle in their path (concrete wall going 50 Km/h)
is that most of its construction is *designed to crumple* or break off, absorbing the impact, improving the chances of survival or serious injuries to its occupants.
