  • Most heartburn medications focus on neutralizing the stomach acid in the esophagus. This helps to control the painful burning but it does not treat the root cause of it and can also make it worse in the long run. Fixing your gut function can be a better way to treat heartburn and bring about balance to the body. Listen to hear more.

    I suffered from acid reflux 3 years ago. I have tried every method possible to alleviate or subdue it but it ends up being a temporary fix. Those methods included apple cider vinegar, HCL Betane with pepsin, baking soda with water, grating ginger in water and much more. None worked until I had my first cup of kefir. For the first time I can perform daily tasks normally and was able to get full 8-10 hour sleep. It's the process food that kills our good gut bacteria and kefir has saved my life. This stuff works!!!!!

I dont have a gallbladder and I suffer greatly. I want off this medication but I've even tried ox bile to try to get off of it with no success. Any advice would be food for thought. Blessings!

    Thank you so much for this information, you are a Godsend! Is kefir ok for lpr? I’m taking it, but worried that the acidic nature of it is damaging my throat and esophagus on drinking it. If I drank alkaline water afterwards, would this help at all, neutralise my throat/esophagus satisfactorily? Or maybe dilute to neutralise it with almond milk or similar? Also I may have a hiatus hernia, so would acid still come up into my esophagus/throat even if I took lots of kefir?I so want this to work. Any information greatly received 🙏

    Hi Donna I experienced the benefits of water kefir since the very first day I started to drink it. my heartburn was making me miserable for years and I found no help in anything until I discover water kefir. I recommend it to anybody, is the best thing has happened to my health. I also had the treatment for H. Pillory and didn’t work. I haven’t dared to drink milk kefir because I’m lactose intolerant. I know that the kefir converts the lactose, but still as I said haven’t taken the chance.

    • @CulturedFoodLife
      @CulturedFoodLife  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      All fermented foods have very very small traces of alcohol. But it should be very minimal if done correctly (about as much as orange juice or soda has) You are only adding in a small amount of fruit (less than 1/4 cup for a quart) for 2nd fermenting and I only 2nd ferment for a couple of hours so it wont cause it to be high in alcohol. Water Kefir also can remain extremely low in alcohol if done correctly.

    • @pkavenger9990
      @pkavenger9990 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@markmaxwell4890 You cant make Kefir with pasteurized milk, it needs raw milk that has good bacteria alive in them. endoscopy is dangerous and unnecessary. If you feel pain in your solar plexus after eating spicy meals for over 2 weeks and it's not going away no matter what you try then you definitely have gastritis. if you have a history of stomach ulcers then this is also an indication of gastritis. I used the minimum amount of Kefir Milk and you have to stop taking it after some time. As far as my diet goes I ate most meals with soup and avoid the things that require more stomach acid to digest. I only ate when I felt hungry, otherwise, avoid unnecessary eating. I now eat 2 meals a day because my digestion is efficient. And the best time to take Kefir Milk is 3 hours after the meal and you can eat fresh fruits with it but like I said to start with less Kefir even with a tablespoon. And if you get gas don't worry it means that good bacteria are doing their job and that is eating bad fungus in your gut. eat green vegetables as well like brocoli spanich etc
