As a nurse (even though in US) I apologize for them dropping the ball and really appreciate the doctor who did see her!! Interesting to know shortages are not just here. So glad that your daughter's appointment went well! I just had one of those kind of appointments with my middle son last week and his results were also good! Your snow is so glorious! We had snow twice in November but nothing yet this month. I'm ready for it. It brightens up these grey, gloomy days.
I'm enjoying the quiet bit of time we share here. I'm making hats for my kids, their spouses and the grandkids. They live two states away so the husband and I are headed down there the third week of Dec to see them. I'm also working on a baby blanket as well because our daughter is pregnant with her second daughter. I have 9 to make but 4 are for little ones so they go fast, thankfully. Tomorrow I'm going to make me a new holiday project bag with vintage fabric my mother gave me. I wish it was cooler here so I might get in the holiday spirit a bit more than I am. It's rainy and warm. You shouldn't sweat while putting up outside decorations lol

I must say the scenery in Finland is beautiful. The wreath for Christmas is great and it is an achievement. This happens when Dr's are sick but they should have let you know beforehand. Claim your petrol money and hand the Dr an account lol. The red and white sweater is beautiful. Blocking is an art. Totsiens tot more

Every time you say "I had my cup of coffee", I immediately want a cup of coffee and I go and make me one... And that would be absolutely fine, I love coffee. BUT! I bingewatch your podcast, and you say this thing in every episode, but I only can drink 2 cups per day! You make me drink 5 cups! 😂😂😂😂😂😂 I think it's better for me to switch to decaff 😂 because talking about coffee is contagious, same as talking about casting on, you hear someone do it and you neeeed to do the same immediately 😂😂😂❤

Also your wreath is gorgeous. Not doing much for Christmas this year we just got back from a 6 week trip with one daughter. So sometime around Christmas we will go see the other daughter and family. That wreath is glorious. I wish we had things like this in the UK, but haven't seen any. The light is really beautiful. Just out of curiosity, how long does the light last when you get to the shortest day? I think the Elf idea is great. Helps with a gentle lead-up to Christmas. Better than just chocolate, which is what most children have here. I'm 72 and I still love Home Alone. Cannot even think how old it is. Your pancakes looked lovely. They made me think that I haven't had them for such a long time. I used to make them a lot for my Grandson, but he now lives in Japan which is a bit far to send 🥞. I hoped he could come home for Christmas but he is too busy with his work. The computer games industry is relentless even with its very talented concept artists. And of course, the Japanese lifestyle is very different. But he loves it and is so happy there, so that helps me to be happy 😊. But 4 years is a long wait for the person you love most in the whole world 🙏. Thank goodness for Skype and WhatsApp. At least I can see that he looks well. So pleased that your little girl's appointment finally went OK. I miss the time when they all came to stay with me and bake cookies and do crafts etc. But now even the youngest is 22. Despite all my trying, my only Grandaughter has no interest in crafts. I don't think she can sew on a button properly 😕. She is only interested in being a policewoman and her two dogs (I think her partner comes third but he adores her so all is great). Thank you so much for sharing your life with me. Love your cardigan- I just started the Garter Marler sweater. It’s giving me a little anxiety about random color placement but I know I’ll love the finished sweater
I think the marler is more forgiving than the simple stripe. You can easily blend the colours and play with the placement. I hope you enjoy the process!
