this is great! thank you so much for doing this. you addressed all of my thoughts and queries as WE too have been wanting to do lithium in our motorhome but were daunted by the price etc. Thank you, will check out Amperetime..

Wow guys Lithium. It's the only way to go. You are going to be so happy with these, and you can't beat that price. Hi Chloe!!! Cheers 😘🥂😘

Hey there Frank! Yeah they sound like an expensive purchase but when you work out usable amp hours and all the other benefits they offer they are actually a pretty clear choice in our opinion! 🍁

Wow. we were looking at their website, and their prices are super reasonable. We love that they are lighter and you never have to add water.

Hey guys! Totally right. Just so easy to own and care for that way. Combined with how long they should last and the fact you get so many more usable amp hours per battery they sure have come a long way over the years 🍁

I knew nothing about lithium batteries, thanks guys.

It was a different video for us for sure but happy to have them and there are really just so many reasons to buy lithiums over typical batteries now 🍁

A great video on lithium guys.
I have been researching alot on switching to lithium. Ampere Time is one of the options I am considering.
The one thing, with this battery, that you may not be aware of, after watching this video.
There is no low temp protection with this one, so it will allow it to be charged below 32°F / 0°C.
So it will cause damage to the battery in doing so.
I learned some of this from watching a few videos from the channel...
DIY Solar Power with Will Prowse
He actually takes the batteries apart & tests them. There is some great info there also.

Great video guys! You really hit all the important points, especially that LiFePO4 batteries are really affordable now.
Small correction on the charging below freezing… if the Battery Management System (BMS) doesn’t have low temperature charge protection cutoff you will permanently damage the battery.
If you do have low temperature charge protection cutoff the BMS will stop charging for happening when you get below a predefined temperature, normally 0-5 deg C. Of course if you have the heated battery option, the low temperature charge protection cutoff is set at -20 C

Congratulations I love my ampere time batteries! I have 2, 200ah. We have been unhooked for the last month, and a half. I have heard the largest batteries they have, aren’t put together very well. Will Prowes did a video on it. Not good. But the 100, and up to 200, are great.

Yeah it just seems to have so many advantages over "conventional" batteries. Hard to imagine a reason to ever use them again, for RVing especially. Take care! 🍁

Good for you! I’m in process of switching over and need to move my batteries from the tongue of my travel trailer to the inside pass-through. Im stressing over how to do that without messing things up. Might you address how you moved your system to the interior of your Trailer?

We've also heard for that reason they are better with solar panels as well, but no experience in that department. Yet! 🍁

@@LukeandAlysha Huh? Don’t worry folks, most people, including me, appreciate all your videos. Keep up the good work.
I’m looking forward to your video on the work necessary to switch from lead acid to lithium. Your video made me think about switching out my lead acid battery for lithium…
