  • This Creo Parametric tutorial video shows how to create Cylinder mechanism connections in an assembly. It also shows:
    * Creating a Style State for improved visibility
    * Converting a standard part into a Skeleton
    * Defining a Copy Geometry feature
    * Changing Reference Control settings for a model
    * Converting assembly constraints into Pin connections
The Cylinder connections start at approximately 8:50.

Great video series on mechanisms Dave! In the future I hope you have time to cover Mechanism Dynamics add-on and 3D contacts

For the piston head, it only has translation motion , why use cylindrical connection instead of slider connection?? , its evident piston head is not rotating but only slides

You could use a slider connection, but it would be redundant. The rotational Degree of Freedom for the piston head is taken out by the connecting rod. Having redundant / negative Degrees of Freedom can be a problem when generating certain results in a dynamic analysis.
