wow. This is so good! I'll definitely need to re-watch and practice, but as someone who has never used any of these creo features I now feel like I have a much better understanding of the process and workflow required to achieve the end result. Very helpful as always thank you so much!
Thanks, Sean. Cam synthesis curves have a very specific purpose and they are extremely useful for that particular design problem. It's one of those little nuggets that are good to keep in your toolbox, and I like how this technique simulates the desired motion, and then backs out the geometry necessary to achieve that.
Hi sir, thanks for the video, I learnt a lot but when I am replicating the same my cam synthesis curve is shown to be just a plain circle instead of the normal cam shape you get at 14:54. Any help would be immensely helpful
Video was perfect and I really liked the way you taught. When I'm trying to replicate the same I'm getting a error like " Assembly failed " , " The mechanism constraint couldn't satisfy ", " The mechanism couldn't assemble ". I'm getting this error whenever I try to include cams mechanism. Could you help me out
Best Creo Tutorial I have seen, more than just a simple example and in depth knowledge of cool features
Thanks. The models and most of the demo comes from PTC's Mechanisms classes from the Wildfire days.

Very nice presentation of how to define a cam curve. Have you ever used an modified sine in stead of a cosine function to drive a vavle?
I have not.
Could you please add videos about the Measure icon in the mechanism app?
That is on my To Do list. Just have never thought of a good scenario.

Setting the config option enable_implied_joints to no might help.
@@CADPLMGuy . Thank you. Will try
