To the audience: Thing is you need to compromise (not necessarily but quite possible since there is risks involved) something else for something you want in your phone that is not authentic, means risk. If you have no such fear of losing your data then you are good to go but if the risks involves some potential damage or loss then you should not try. Again thanks for the guide it is really a good way to do that (but there is always risk involved in manipulating authentic system/app). Good luck all.

Bhai, bina kisi aur country ya region ki ROM pe switch kiye apni Indian ROM pe hi MIUI dialer and messaging app install karne ka jugad nikalo.. kyonki phir apne Indian ROM ke updates milne ke bajaye dusre country ke updates milenge, to usme maza nahin aayega..
Haa..muze to risk ka problem he agar phone brick ho gya to kya krenge. Mene Mi Messaging app download krrke install kiya to app crash ho rha he.

I updated to Indonesian rom using your method. I did it successfully and have latest security patch of may. Cherry on the top is that I did not lose my any data. It booted normally after update just like regular OTA update.

It's not working. Getting error again and again while installing.. Its better to unlock bootloader and flash the Indonesian fastboot rom directly 😗

Nice trick bro. It worked for my poco x3 pro. I have got miui dialer and messaging app.
Problem observed:- 1. Device is not certified in google play store.
2. Now I am not able to switch back on INDIAN ROM using the same method.
Showing error:- It shows can not install unofficial ROM.
Bootloader is still locked, device is not certified.
I have wiped all data and also do factory reset bit having same errror and can not go back to indian rom. I have stuck now.

Same Done on My x3 Pro I installed Miui 12.3.0 ID Rom After Installing My Device isn't certified though I registered I jst able to use all Google services but still in play Store settings it shows device not certified 💔

If You install Indonesian fastboot rom after unlocking bootloader there is miui dialer and miui messages app but Indonesian rom is buggy and has serious issues and you have to restart your device three times a day or else there is no sound I used this rom for three days it is not worth it. Sorry for my bad English.
