I think Bouncy was made to attract new fans and especially korean GP....and the rest of the album is for us ATINYs who love their signature epic cinematic sound!❤ solid album for real.
oh i loooooved seeing the joy on your face while listening to the album, i felt that so much! i adored the theatrical cinematic vibe of their last album, and i was so impressed when they brought that back without it feeling like the exact same thing. they keep pushing to innovate and elevate their music, i'm continually impressed by them.
I can't get over to this album and I am learning a lot of musical terms and musical instruments they used in the songs through your reaction. I love listening to a lot of music but it's so amazing that you can hear the littlest details of the songs.
I feel you so much on "This World". Two of my atiny friends were like "yeah it's good but only the chorus is great, overall normal Ateez" and I'm here like loving it so much. My first comment was that it makes me feel immersed in a story that has a series of dark events, like those dystopian movies or animes, idk. But I love it.
I watched the comeback showcase on livestream and had to literally hold my jaws together when they opened with This World. This is a concert opener!!! Anime opening! Theatre! This is the Ateez I signed up for. So powerful I had tears midway. This has to be on the next tour set list
I'm a Stay. Stray Kids for life. BUT I bought this Ateez album (multiple copies) because it's so f-ing great. Wake Up is an absolute masterpiece. And Outlaw is also amazing. How long til I can call myself Staytiny?
i love their first albums, and for the longest time answer was my absolute favourite. but after the last couple of releases listening to their backlog feels a little like playing an old fave videogame. like god, i love you to pieces, i can play you with my eyes closed, but your newer iterations are so much more complex, polished and just overall evolved that it simply doesn't compare.

@@Aslyanne actually, i was surprised when i found out that he made a cover of this song. being a huge fan of heavy music for +10 years, i glad to hear something like this from idol. seonghwa has the potential to create heavy songs. his voice is quite deep, clear, crispy and stable. he would definitely have a good cover/song!!

same. i wonder if it's their obligatory "song for the korean audience" which caters to an average korean kpop music taste. the rest of the album is very artsty, indeed, in the best way possible, but is also pretty removed from what people expect from your average low-calibre (company-wise) boys band, so you kinda have to have a nice catchy bait to lure people to experince whatever the hell dune is. and they've done it before by releasing inception first even though most of their western fanbase prefered thanxx. although that was on a much smaller scale since the songs weren't THAT different.
This ENTIRE ALBUM deserves a STANK FACE!!! Also, I have never attended such an in depth impromptu live session, that's why I stan our only Reliable Atiny Guitarist! The way they slapped MIX-POP at the end, I believe, their next album will be MIX POP!

I couldn't agree more when you mentioned the 8-bit video game sounds. Some of their past songs have a full-blown 80's pop sound to them where I can fully envision the typical matte/fogged look of the music video. A prime example of this is Take me Home from Fever Pt 2.

Idk if I’m the only one but the electric organ sample from The World seems to me like it comes from the GHIBLI movie Castle in the Sky ? Like I should check in the movie but it sounds the exact same to me
I thought it'd be hard to top the world ep 1 album, but what the heck with this album TT Ngl when I heard the songs' teasers, django n dune gave me stronger impressions, so it was kinda easy to pick my fave. But listening to the whole songs, the whole album kinda duped me. This world just dirtily smacked me from the back n climbed to top, yet the other songs also refused to go down (read: I can't choose my fave song anymore from this album TT). Ironically it's easy to pick my least fave, n that's the title song, bouncy 😂. Sorry bouncy, the rest of the songs are just my cups of tea more.
Me too! I was most excited for Dune & Django from the teasers. But listening to Wake Up & This World made me go wth Ateez. I felt cheated AND happy abt it. I'd rank Bouncy at the bottom, with Django just above it. Interestingly, based on polls I see on yt fan channels (& also no of views on the yt audio), Django is the most popular B-side. Wake Up, This World & Dune definitely in the top 3 for me. Seonghwa starting Wake Up with his whispery "Can you hear my voice" and I alrdy knew I was done for. I love my boy HJ for his melodic rap and always interesting rap flow but in Wake Up, I thought his soul was possessed by TOP himself. HJ really proving tt he can do it all w this comeback.
I don't even know if it's fair to compare them. Movement is PERFECT, 12/10. So is this. I'm so mad that like....Eden knows exactly what I need in my ears to make me ascend to a different dimension. Ep 1 and 2 are both flawless no-skip EP's and there's no reason to say one is better than the other, other than the fact that I was EXTREMELY nervous about anything being released after Movement, because I didn't think there was any possible way my good boys could even do something on the same par as it. Yet here we are.
I swear to god there is only 1 single Ateez song that I am personally not really a Fan of (Its White Love - their vocals are crazy but its not the typ of music that I like nor enjoy) and Ateez are just... insane like just when you think they cannot come out with something that will top the last thing and well here we go... You can clearly hear how much they are improving with each comeback/song and they definately never dissapoint... Like in this Album there are once again NO Skips they are so goddamn good and they make me feel sooo badass!!! Especially Django - its next to Cyperpunk/The Leaders/ The King my go to Workout song! its running on repeat... god I Love Ateez so much

After the first listen, i was gobsmacked. They surpassed all expectations. 1st time ever that my personal ranking of their tracks had the title track placed right at the bottom.
