I was driving down the road with my trailer behind me and got pulled over and this is the man i met. Dale.
He brought me to this scrappers dream field. There was scrap metal all overt the place. I picked up 2 loads of appliances and 1 load of chain link fence.

Took a load in today. 6 cents a pound for tin. Tough on the guys who count on it for there lively hood. But im seeing more metal out there.

Them front load washers are heavy as crap got them cement blocks in them! That guy definitely hooked you up with a lot of scrap buddy! Got you a full trailer load heck yeah buddy! Another nice load. I had to work long hours all week so I’m catching up on your videos this weekend. I’m going to try to work another year or two then try scraping full time. I’m a truck driver by trade. I’ve done that for over 30 years. I’m tired of doing it but I’m not able to retire or stop driving quite yet. I got a driving job with a small company hauling grain and got off the road driving all over. I drive mostly corn from local little elevators to Ethenol plants and a place that makes alcohol that people drink. It’s long hours. September will start harvest season and it’ll be 6 or 7 days a week. If we work Saturday it’s time and a half and Sunday is double time. That’s one thing about truck driving, they’re not required to pay overtime. So anytime you get overtime pay it’s a benefit for sure
I’m old so these 10-12 hour days are tough though
Way too many hours for me I can’t work that many hours
You are blessed well all I can say is do it while you can because there’s gonna be a day that you can’t do it anymore. I’m 62. There is no way I could do my regular job every day. You know I wasn’t Roofer for many years and that took a toll on my body, good luck with your driving and I would love to see you making some scrap videos

Wasp get you grampaw?😢 I was up on this walkboard on a real steep roof 9ne time and here they come just tore into me there was nowhere to run just had to take it. At least with the wasps you know what you are gonna get,it’s those snakes that worry me in the weeds and digging stuff out,stay safe out there.
