මරණය දැක කර්මයට මුහුණදුන් තවුසා | කණ්හදීපායන ජාතක කතාව | Jataka dharma
ජාතක කතාවේදී පෙන්වාදෙන එදිනෙදා ජීවිතයේ දි මුහුණ දෙන ප්‍රශ්න, ගැටලු, අභියෝග අලුත් සේ අපට දැනෙනවා. ඒත් ඒවා අලුත් නෑ. සමහර විට ඉදිරිපත් වන ආකාරය අනුව වෙනස් විය හැක. එහෙත් මූලික හරය හේතූන් නොවෙනස්.
මේ තරම් සංකීර්ණ නොවූ කාලයේ පවට ලජ්ජාව සහ විපාකයට බිය අප හඳුනාගෙන තිබුණේ ලෝක පාලක ධර්ම ‍යනුවෙනි. ගැඹුරු ධර්ම කරුණු කතාබහ නොවුණාට ඔවුන් ජීවිතය ගැන විමසීමට උපකාර කර ගෙන තිබෙන්නේ ජාතක ධර්මයයි.
අප අසන ජාතක කතා සියලු කාලයටම ගැළපෙනවා. සියුම්ව විමසා බලනකොට මෙම ජාතක කතා අසන්නා ඇද බැඳ තබා ගන්නටත්, වඩා ඉහළ ජීවිත අවබෝධයකට මඟ පෙන්වීමට සමත්.
ජාතක කතාවලින් මිනිස් සිත ක්‍රියා කරන ආකාරය ඉතා සියුම්ව ඉදිරිපත් කරනවා. ජාතක කතාවල යුගයේ සමාජ විශ්වාසයන් සහ අගය කිරීම් අඩංගු වී තිබෙනවා.
