A few years ago I was attempting to fly my original mavic drone in Stanley park, I was flying near some trees and my drone was being forced down by the geofence, and it eventually was blown into a tree towards Goodison. After a couple of hours, we were finally able to get to the drone to bring it down. My friend, a blue knocked it down with a long pole and I caught it in a blanket. I still have the drone, and the end of your video brought back memories of that eventful day. ; ) 😊
Ur showing dedication as always....Nice one for the shout out to your Dad, I lost mine a few years ago and its still not quite real. Cherish every minute with him mate
The solar looks approx like a 60Kwh array. I think it's there to satisfy building regulations as all new builds and developments in the UK require energy saving measures to satisfy planning.
Hi Kev nice update again 🌟👍🍺 Ditto, Happy Father’s Day to everyone involved in the Expansion of the Annie Stand enjoy YOUR DAY. Big thumbs UP to everyone else involved as well 🌟👍🍺. I know nothing about solar panels either, but at least they have got some solar panels up. People were asking the question months ago if they were ever good to be solar panels, well ANFIELD have them now 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻😁👍🌟. To all you fathers out there, Happy Father’s Day YNWA 👍🌟🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🥃🥃🥃😎😎😎😎
Hi KC again, Didn't get time to finish before so here we are. Just a couple of observations. At the SKD end on the scissorlift the lads are fitting cladding which will go up to the roof, just to the right a section of Glasroc insulation has been fitted and at the top of the insulation is the beginning of a sloping framework which I believe is for a group of 4 windows just like the "skinny window" set at the other end, on that insulation will be going Brickwork (Both ends} There is quite a lot of brickwork still to be done including the second Badge. If I'm right in saying there is still brickwork above and below the windows right across the building to go on as well. Now as for pitch side, From the drawings I've seen, there is a White facing going on the front edge to finish off the roof framework. Don't know what it will be made of so don't know if a crane or cherry picker will be used. That's about it for the moment. YNWA.
KC - The board you mentioned at about 7mins on the KDS side is sheathing board and not insulation. They will brick over that most likely in the future and not clad it.
It’s good to see the new concrete terracing has been installed. I always have mixed opinions on whether it’s going to be ready for the new season or whether it’s not. There’s still lots to go but hopefully this coming week will provide a sign of the situation, especially as it’s two months tomorrow until the first home game against Bournemouth. Keep up the boss work and Happy Father’s Day to you and all the dads out there.
I don’t think it’s as far of as it looks. Take the one side of cladding it took weeks, cause I think workers were doing jobs of materials were not there etc. look at the roof, 1 side took a month, but the other a week. It’s a lot of preparation now to go hard at it but n jobs like side wales and seats, which will go in fast now.
Thanks Kev and happy fathers day to you. Those seats do stand out like a sore thumb. I was thinking about the main stand seats the other week, the lower tier all mostly need to be changed. Red seats always fade so quickly.
Hello mate and happy fathers day to you also kev. Terracing in starting to look even better mate some great video angles from the drone footage. The have put that up real quick. Had alook at the Time lapse drone video you put together from how it started to where it is now. Keep up the good work mate and thanks again always a pleasure to tune in mate.👍
Thanks Kev for today and the videos yesterday, looks like the pitch will be handed back over this coming week and i think i can safely say there was never any chance of that roof coming down during the world cup. hats off to the guys who did it.
It would look like some contractors labourers are standing around. But most of the time there actually waiting to move onto there next job, it's waiting for work permits to move onto next part of jobs that takes the waiting times up. Health and safety reasons. It's a ball ache but safety 1st. They've all done a great job so massive well done to all involved
Well done on the continued great feeds of the development. Todays video of the pitch shows how much dependency we play on Trent, Salah, Jota and Robertson judging by those imprints in the field. Keep up the good work KC KP
Thanks for all the footage Kev and a good look around Anfield. The more I see this development I do think that it’s a shame that Liverpool didn’t try to build the main stand further back to allow the Centenary Stand to eventually be rebuilt as they are now snookered with what can be done. Logistically a nightmare I know!
Yeah granted, just a thought really. I meant more of a half rebuild really similar to what Spurs have done (with relocation for a few years) but then I guess it would end up being a full rebuild which FSG have never entertained. Feel sorry for the residents behind the centenary as it’s always being discussed by fans what to do about those house but they are their homes and should never be an option.
Brilliant video as usual Kev. Happy fathers day to you and all the other dad's out there. Really weird them faded seats on the Kop. Got no idea at all as to why them few seats look so awful but the ones next to them are OK. Thanks for your daily updates, they are fantastic.
Good work with the drone flying. and I'm with you sir on the OCD chat, that little "winglet" at 07:38 needs finishing off . It also looks a bit odd the way it sticks up at that side, when the roof edge on the other side next to the "King Kenny" stand turns downwards..Is there a reason for that??
As all those red Ford Fiesta owners from the 1980s will remember so well, red fades much more than other colours, because it absorbs more energy which leads to greater and faster degradation.
The faded seats will be spare seats that have replaced a broken seat and to make them look new again they use a gas torch and the heat makes it look brand new and shiney again - or they may just not bother doing that 🤷🏻♂️
Siempre completo tu contenido, pero lo veo muy difícil que llegue a la fecha estipulada el termino de la construcción faltan demasiados detalles, feliz día del padres exitos
Wow!! I never knew Goodison was that close to Anfield till I saw this Video!! Could you pinpoint where the new Bramley Dock would be in relation to Anfield, and what's happening with Goodison after next season? Great work Kev, from your avid Chelsea supporter
The scaffold is coming down, very slowly. The top level has gone, but that is all, so far. Keep up the grea work, good angles, great commentary, in layman's terms. Could you have a look at the structure that is being built at the corner of Anfield Road/ Main stand end from the inside. Looking at that corner, there is a large gap to fill. I'm wondering if this structure will fill the whole gap, or if more terracing needs to be inserted.
Thanks for the footage KC. Awesome work as always. Do you know if the "Shankly Gates" will remain in that same spot on Anfield Rd or will it be moved somewhere else.
Just watching this on the telly. I wonder if the faded seats on the Kop are old replacements for broken seats. I would imagine they have a stock of old seats somewhere (maybe replaced by white logo seats?) and when seats in use get broken (with enthusiasm!) they can replace them with old/faded stock. OK just paused the video just before you said what I wrote!! Keep up the great work. I hope the club appreciate the history you and the other guys are documenting
Another great video. Would you be able to zoom in directly in front of the main stand to look at the seats. Surely they haven't faded as bad as it seems, i thought it was just because of the angle that we're looking at them. 👍
Any chance you could get a close up of the inside section of new terracing they are building up next to the Main Stand? Signal dependant like! There used to be a stairwell and bridge us stewards used to use, and a tv gantry there. It was where the old upper tier truss upright was.
Thanks for panning round, great view of the Anfield area. Such a shame that the land earmarked for a new football hotel (in front of the club shop at the corner of main stand and the kop) sits there empty and is now up for sale with the hotel concept seemingly abandoned. The original plan was to build a hotel and employ local people in order to train them up in the hospitality industry. Would have looked great sitting next to Anfield and would have been so good for the area.
I can’t see how it wouldn’t succeed, 61,000 fans visiting the area every week nearly for 10 months of the year including thousands from abroad (home and away fans). Hotel football next to old Trafford is a success. Shows the club is giving back to the area.
Great update Kev 👍 I think access may be required from the pitch using cherry pickers, to install the front facia cladding to the front spans. So the pitch covering may be there a little longer. LFC did say it would take a month, so technically they have two more days before they need to hand over to the groundsmen. Keep up the great work.
I occasionally work as a steward (for FGH) there, even though I live in Birmingham. A team of about 25 of us come up and we mainly work Anfield Road stand. Do you know if they are doing a tour of the new stand? Or will it be incorporated into Anfield Stadium tour?

I expect the random faded seats in the Kop end are those 'replacements' for broken ones. As the plastic is in two parts, if the 'Seat' or 'back' breaks, they may replace them with 'old' spares rather than replace both parts with 'brand new'.

@@1701_FyldeFlyeryup, but some solar panels can store electricity. Also it could be sold to the grid. But you’re probably right, it might light the internal roof lights, or Wi-Fi etc.
That corner where first aid etc is....that seems like an area that could have been used for extra seats. Not entirely convinced it's been maximised to its full potential up that corner.
Thanks for this. It does seem there is a lot of work still to be done. From my understanding it will be ready september not August. Could this be confirmed. Also have we missed an opportunity to lengthen the pitch. Apparently ours is 2 metres short to meet Uefa and Fifa requirements to be selected for international tournaments or uefa finals.
Why you want uefa finals in Anfield they hate us ,last final in Paris half of the fans was locked out side of thr ground after piad ticket €2,000 .thats what uefa is.
@pauldalli7009 We are European Royalty. We need to maintain and ensure we stay as an elite club and not fall behind others. Spurs have built a fantastic stadium unlike the other dreadful bowls of metal that we see. As a lifelong fan since the days of Keegan , clemence, Hughes, Heighway , Jones, Ray Kennedy etc we need to stay in the top challenging everything
Hi KC. I owe an apology regarding the "skinny window" at the other end. I said somebody had made a mistake when correcting that particular window, regarding "someone had stuck a patch in". Well, when seeing John's vid I noticed that patch and zoomed in on my pad only to notice it wasn't a patch but out was a sheet transparent window which had been fitted but not yet trimmed hence the straight line making it look like a patch. My Apology,
I’m currently working on the stadium my job will be completed by the end of this coming week but my personal opinion is the job in a whole will go over a couple of weeks from the 19th of august which was originally scheduled
both corners of the skd stand look like wasted space now, one wonders if they could be filled in with seats to extend the upper tier and make it wider, and move or redesign the pundit/media rooms, if the player car park is moved, that also leaves some room to build, an extra tier of 15 rows to make the skd 3 tiers could look great if residents agree and the return on investment is justified, would make the skd a 63 row stand altogether..my guess is that would add an extra 3000-4000
The only request if we're allowed to and u read this is could you go a bit lower when looking inside bcoz no one seems to drop down a bit to show us how it looks from a lower angle
Kev , you said you like ideas for new videos. How about the Williams tunnels from below and from above, I bet lots of people would love to know how far the tunnels went from above the ground. Also, I know you like history. How about the missing rivers of Liverpool .
They are NOT removing the Nike Logo, the gaps are where some seats were removed for the temporary supports they installed when the roof came off, the seats will go back in and the logo will be exactly as it was before.
I must admit, it does not look nearly a impressive as the original plans/sketches where the lower tier was made quite small and the upper tier looked like it was going to be massive like "the yellow wall" stand at Dortmund or the Spurs ends. Just looks like the old stand now with a new roof join to be honest😕😕
I’ll take another look at the plans. The angle the drone is flying at probably has something to do with it. As I can’t get low enough to see the full scale of the stand

Don’t think so
The lower tier was fitted out with rail seats last season. I think the bottom rows have just been temporarily removed for access.
If having solar panels, they need Tesla powerwall’s.
I’d put solar panels on main stand as well.
If they can
3:04 when he zooms in on the insulation is it just me or are the top row of steel bars really wonky compared to the middle row
I’ll have a closer look tomorrow
both corners of the skd stand look like wasted space now, one wonders if they could be filled in with seats to extend the upper tier and make it wider, and move or redesign the pundit/media rooms, if the player car park is moved, that also leaves some room to build, an extra tier of 15 rows to make the skd 3 tiers could look great if residents agree and the return on investment is justified, would make the skd a 63 row stand altogether..my guess is that would add an extra 3000-4000
Glass roc is a fire retardant material
Usually on emergency exit routes
Brilliant mate, thank you
Reckon they'll add extra seats in the Main Stand corner to fill that gap in the lower tier?
Looks like that will definitely happen
Will we aee pitch be uncovered and dug up by middle of this week?
I’d say so yes
They've probably repaired that one seat using a spare one that's faded
Yeah that’s a good possibility
That’s concrete terracing went up super quick. Big steps for big comfy seats maybe 🤷♂️
That’s a good point, it could be
The SKD stand is missing its floodlights.
Now that I didn’t notice
Some shoddy cutting on the roof triangle piece.....
They’ll probably tidy that up
Happy fathers guys YNWA
Thank you
The only request if we're allowed to and u read this is could you go a bit lower when looking inside bcoz no one seems to drop down a bit to show us how it looks from a lower angle
I’ll try a different approach tomorrow
Kev , you said you like ideas for new videos. How about the Williams tunnels from below and from above, I bet lots of people would love to know how far the tunnels went from above the ground.
Also, I know you like history. How about the missing rivers of Liverpool .
That is a plan I have mate, I’m looking forward to doing something new
The blokes on the cherry picker at the first aid corner look like they’re blocking themselves in with the diagonal steel lol 😂
😂😂
It's fireproof cladding for the fire escape stairways
Thank you mate
Legend they put that steel in at minute 2:49, how are they getting the cherry picker cradle out😊
With a helicopter.
😂😂 I’ll leave it to the professionals
quick question, are they removing the nike tick or is that staying there?
They are NOT removing the Nike Logo, the gaps are where some seats were removed for the temporary supports they installed when the roof came off, the seats will go back in and the logo will be exactly as it was before.
It’ll be staying
Looks like they use old seats to make running repairs to broken seats in the Kop.
Yeah I didn’t think of that Jay
Stadium looks a mess with all the sun damaged seats. Wonder if they will change them all to match the new stand
what drone is it?
It’s a Mavic
I must admit, it does not look nearly a impressive as the original plans/sketches where the lower tier was made quite small and the upper tier looked like it was going to be massive like "the yellow wall" stand at Dortmund or the Spurs ends. Just looks like the old stand now with a new roof join to be honest😕😕
I’ll take another look at the plans. The angle the drone is flying at probably has something to do with it. As I can’t get low enough to see the full scale of the stand
See you tomorrow mate 😊
I’ll be there/here Jurgen
I’m abit ocd I hate the faded seats it’s really annoying
It is
Yeah you would think that they would replace the old faded ones
lfc need to be careful with random faded seats the mag pink seats brigade will be all over that like a rash
Exactly that
Took a day off? 😵 Outrageous! 🤣😂
Scandalous 😂
Maybe the seats are marked out for replacement
No they’re definitely faded
Also where are the solar panels?
In this video
that roc board will probably end up behind brick work
Yeah it probably will mate, thanks
When will it be happy sons day 😂😂😂😂😂😂
😂😂
