I am going to say it....I met Reeve three times now while he was in Toronto filming this past few months. Probably the nicest and very down to earth dude. At first when I met him I was flipping out inside my head, but then he started talking about random stuff and after 10 minutes we both were like WTF is this conversation about hahaha. He loves to connect with fans , and talk. So if you meet him or see him walking around do say Hi to him :-D he is brilliant!! When I was on my way home I was literally pinching myself and going holy fuck I just talked to REEVE. Coolest guy. Very multi-talented and deserves more recognition. Josh and Reeve are very underrated actors. And Oh I have met Josh too very very nice guy :-D
I think you & i should make a movie, it would be worth your time. Trust me !?! Hehe.. I'm sorry =}~ i couldn't resist ! Women like you are what dreams are made of. You are a Goddess ! I apologize if i offended you, i mean no harm. As i said, i just couldn't resist, watching your videos have just got my mind all in the gutter lol =)
+Anastassiya Antipova Seeing as you're fellow Dorian Gray fan I just wanted to say you should listen Confessions of Dorian Gray from Big Finish, if you didn't already. It's really good, sort of sequel of the novel, spanning from 19th to 21st century and far future. Personally my favourite Dorian, but Carney''s Dorian is also great. He is one of my favourite characters in the PD :)
I really come to like Reeve Carney. He seems the most invested in the show out of all the actors. I understand they are probably busy, but I feel they could be a bit more active on panels and all. I was very disappointed when during a panel both Eva and Josh said they did not watch the show jet.
Separate ones. I think Josh said so at a Comic-Con cast interview and Eva for another interview. I did not see them recently so you will have to look for yourself.
When I finally got to see the painting in season 2 I literally jumped out of my seat. It was a hell of a lot scarier than I ever imagined it to be. But so worth the anticipation of it as well.
what a beautiful dark mysterious show it has such a dark intensity and hauntingly poetic atmosphere everything has an underlying darkness to it love this show
super nice to see a show talk to fans like they're a part of the experience without talking down to them, and having the actors be a part of that is really refreshing. great job, all involved with PD :)
I enjoyed every moment of "Penny Dreadful" & though I'm sad it had to end I'm more heartbroken that so many fans turned on this show simply because they didn't want it to end. John Logan didn't create these characters, he isn't the first or the last to create more stories for these characters. I'll be interested to see the entire cast in their next projects. They defined these characters for me.
Fans were pissed off not because they didn't want it to end... well, not JUST that, but specifically by *how* it ended; it was very oddly structured and extremely inconclusive. And the way John Logan has been lying through his teeth since the finale about how "it was always going to be 3 seasons" is just insulting.
Many are pissed (including myself) because we were cheated in the series finale of a great sendoff, a truly satisfying denouement to an otherwise gorgeous series. They at least could have done one more episode or extended the 9th episode to at least an hour and a half so they could show a battle royal between Vanessa, Ethan (who walked away from her, what, to turn himself in because he loved that obnoxious cop???) and Dracula ONLY, leaving out that motley crew of would-be heroes that converged on the meat packing district to try to save Vanessa. Gosh at that point the script could have written itself. But it's like Showtime told everyone, "Don't let the door hit you on the ass when you leave." But no, it was as if Logan was channeling Judith Butler and felt the need to rush Vanessa to a tragic martyrdom with a touch of the morality play (think of the show Wicked), which could still have been the end result, but only after a good deal more dialog and conflict. First show us Vanessa's true power, her anger at feeling betrayed at Ethan's departure at the end of season 2. Did she not say just before that that the ending "would be written in blood." She also had the ability in those final moments to sense or realize that Ethan and Hecate got down and dirty some episodes earlier (during the show's Breaking Dreadful hiatus) and could have tried at first to turn Ethan, if not belittle him for his hypocrisy. Wolf of God, my ass! Logan and the others responsible wimped out at the end. So kids, this is what happens when you turn to the dark side! After having preached the normality/abnormality duality for three seasons, Logan & writers capitulated to normality with a schmaltzy and definitively Proper Victorian Christian ending. However, Dreadful was still a rare and gorgeous treat despite the misplaced grossly priorities evident in the 3rd season as well as Showtime's now legendary capriciousness. It's impossible for Eva Green to have a bad scene and her character, her performance, will live on in cult fandom. Let a thousand fan fiction endings bloom!
I thoroughly enjoyed this! I can only imagine much more discussion was had, which they may have cut due to spoilers. I really want to know what music they used for the stinger on the very end of the video, the part with chanting. My SoundHound app has failed me :-P
* screams * I'M EVEN MORE HYPED UP FOR THIS SHOW THAN I WAS BEFORE!!!! I *CAN NOT* WAIT FOR SEASON 2!!!!! Btw does anyone know the song that was used at the end of this video?
I would love to be apart of this group of fans! The series is purely suspenseful, alluring, phenomenal and scary which I love. Vanessa Ives is definitely the character I relate to the most personally. Season Two is going to be GREAT!!! Looking forward to seeing the cast, including Reeve Carney, back in action.
showtime knows what they did to this show was criminal. he was obviously not meant to kill her in the end, and the revival with new characters admits the terrible fuckup. better get some of the original cast to cameo.

How the f*ck is this guy 31?! He looks like he's still in high school. Making me feel old and I'm only 22. Haha.
***** he's a vampire
Like me
I know! Like no way is he the same age as Aaron Tveit
he's probably actually Dorian, like it's the only explanation really XD
This was an incredible experience! I feel so special being a part of it!

@@Alex-ee1dq Eva is uncomfortable watching any of her performances

ok how come I didn't get invited. oh wait, the universe hates me and takes every opprtunity to remind me of that fact. THATS WHY
Reeve Carney needs to change his hair. He's too good looking for a mediocre style.
