    If I put 2 sims, does will it use both sims at the same time and load-balance the internet traffic?

    • @TeltonikaNetworks

      RUT955 has a single modem. So it will use only one SIM card actively. If you are looking for a device that can use two SIM cards simultaneously, check out RUTX12 it has two modems: teltonika-networks.com/product/rutx12/

    Excuse me Sir, i have a client which operates heavy equipments on remote area outside of any GSM service. But this client has its own WiFi network in the area that those heavy equipments were deployed. So, can i use this router as GPS client device inside the heavy equipment, acting as GPS tracker & data transceiver, using the available WiFi network there ?

      Hello sir, I have successfully configured this product (partially configuring still). One question: the RUT955 top menu does not respond on touching my iPad Pro. Is this intended? Because now I am forced to use my laptop when I'm on the road, to access and configure the internals of the RUT.

      Sorry for the late response. My only suggestion is to try configuring with a different browser on iPad Pro like Chrome or Firefox.

    Does the 955 have any ”cons” compared to the 950?

    • @TeltonikaNetworks
      @TeltonikaNetworks  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi there,
      when compared to RUT950, RUT955 does not have any drawbacks. RUT955 is more advanced than RUT950. It has additional serial communication options and GNSS.
      You can find a comparison table for RUT950 and RUT955 here - teltonika-networks.com/compare/?networking=rut950,rut955

      @@TeltonikaNetworks Another question, I understood that this unit was able to connect to another WiFi-network (with Internet-access) trough the WAN-interface.
      Let’s assume I’ll use DHCP for that and that the RUT-device gets the IP-adress 192.168.0.x
      The question is now: Is the LAN interface seperated from the WAN-interface or would the same subnet on the LAN-side be a IP-conflict?

    • @TeltonikaNetworks
      @TeltonikaNetworks  ปีที่แล้ว

      In general, when a device has both a LAN and a WAN interface, the LAN and WAN interfaces are typically on separate subnets to avoid IP conflicts. This means that the IP addresses used on the LAN side and the WAN side will be in different ranges. For example, if the device is configured to use DHCP on the WAN side and receives the IP address 192.168.0.x, the LAN side of the device might use a different range of IP addresses, such as 192.168.1.x or 10.0.0.x. This allows the device to route traffic between the LAN and WAN interfaces without causing IP conflicts.

    • @binarynumbers7681
      @binarynumbers7681 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@TeltonikaNetworks Yes, but are they physically divided? I mean if the WAN gets the same IP-adress with dhcp that a ”static” non-changeable IP-adress has on the LAN-side.

    • @TeltonikaNetworks
      @TeltonikaNetworks  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, the WAN and LAN areas are physically separate and do not share the same IP address. In the WAN area, IP addresses can be dynamically assigned using DHCP, while in the LAN area, IP addresses can be set to be static and unchanging. This allows for network control and optimization, ensuring that devices in the network areas can function smoothly and securely. Thank you for asking and let us know if you have any other questions.
