    Hi, whats the best way to set up the RUTx11 from the main router. So I'm taking in an ethernet connection from my main router and then on to my TP link 1060 switch. when i plug the ethernet into the wan port i don't get any internet supply. do I have to configure it in a different mode?

      Greetings. When connecting multiple devices, make sure your devices have different local IP addresses. For example, RUTX11 comes with default 192.168.1.1 if another device has the same IP - things will not work as they supposed to be.

    Does it have 2 modems or just 1? In case of a failure on one SIM/network, how much time it takes to switchover to the other SIM/network? Thank you.

    • @TeltonikaNetworks
      @TeltonikaNetworks  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Greetings. RUTX11 has a single modem. In default configuration failover should fully switch SIM in around ~30 seconds. Time depends on the configuration and the time it takes for the SIM to register to the network and establish data connection. So each situation might be a little different.
      Soon we will launching RUTX12 that will have two modems and will have more advanced functionality for uninterrupted network connectivity. RUTX12 will be a Dual LTE Cat6 Industrial router. You can learn more about in our product catalog: teltonika-networks.com/Networking%20Product%20catalog%202019%27%20JULY.pdf

    Do the two cards work at the same time? Does the internet speed add up from 2 cards or does only one work?

    • @TeltonikaNetworks
      @TeltonikaNetworks  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Greetings. RUTX11 has a single modem. That means, that only one SIM card can be active. And they switch by the SIM switch settings you can configure. If you want both SIM cards to work at the same time you need RUTX12 with two LTE modems: teltonika-networks.com/product/rutx12/

    Hey great product! I am installing the RUTX11 inside a shipping container to provide internet to a solar inverter, is the gnss antenna the one I need outside the container to receive signal and is it IP rated? Thanks!

      Ah looks like I need the mobile roof antenna, I want LTE and GNSS to provide internet is that correct? Thank you

    • @TeltonikaNetworks
      @TeltonikaNetworks  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      As you would be using a RUTX11 inside the container, it would be best to use external antennas for mobile and GNSS to ensure good signal quality. Regarding the antenna GNSS that comes with RUTX11 - it has IP65, so it can be used outdoors.

    Hi. None of my pc's have an ethernet cable. Is there a work around?

    • @TeltonikaNetworks
      @TeltonikaNetworks  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hi there, the answer is yes! You can connect to the router's Wi-Fi network, and then access the WebUI using the router's IP address. Check out the detailed instructions in our Wiki: tinyurl.com/9zruffy4

    so, say, if you are doing a live stream, and 1 sim internet goes low, it will switch to the 2nd one without losing signal? or it will stop then switch? also what would be the equivalent parameter to a minimum of 2mb/s upload? thanks!

    • @TeltonikaNetworks
      @TeltonikaNetworks  ปีที่แล้ว

      RUTX11 has a single modem, meaning that two SIM cards will not operate simultaneously and that the switching will still result in disconnect, as first, data disconnect has to be detected, next, connection to a different ISP has to be established. Regarding the last question, could you please elaborate more on it?

      @@TeltonikaNetworks I have the Rutx12, just looking for a solution to use the 2 simcards at the same time, (bonding) but the prices they charge for it are way too high.

    • @TeltonikaNetworks
      @TeltonikaNetworks  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@maxmulax294 Unfortunately, Teltonika Networks routers do not have a bonding feature by default. At the moment, Bondix Intelligence services are the only option to enable bonding on our routers.

      Could you add more details on the specific use-case? You can use VLAN functionality to create separate Virtual LANs for specific ports. More on this here - wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/RUTX11_VLAN
