He's beyond "not there".. if this wasn't American Idol and he was to perform on stage at any venue at any time, no one would never know that he was only doing this for six months. The audience would think he has been singing for years.. So don't be so foolish and say he's teachable and he's got a lot of potential as if he needs work. This is supposed to be an amateur competition and not a competition for professionals who have performed as backups for already established stars. I stopped watching A.I. for that reason. I just happen to catch his audition on my YT feed and thought I'd give it a listen. The guy nailed the song better than most seasoned cover and tribute artist.. the thing that hurts in the most is that he's only been doing it 6 months and that's what the judges will use. I see this guy going far, real far in the country music industry.

I had never heard of this guy, but I saw a post from my little town in Ks, with pictures of my childhood best friend and her mother and another posing with him. So I googled him to see why he would be in my little hometown. When I saw his mother's name was Peri ( seriously how many Peri's do you know ) and his middle name was Marshall, I knew before I went any further. And yet I did , and then I saw that there was 3 generations of USMC Cols, and his brother's where Richard and Ben at that point I was positive.. I was married to his uncle briefly when I was 19 , I am now 55, and his sister was Peri, his middle name is Marshall, and their father was Richard and Col in the USMC. Nothing could be this coincidental. Anyway, obviously he was in my little hometown to visit his grandmother and Uncle who still live there. Needless to say I watched his videos and he is amazing, I am sad he didn't make it any further.

It always worries me these kid's will have been video taped, saying, or doing something, someone may find offensive.
