Wow this live version of this song is so sick! :) Her voice is so haunting und better than on the studio version. And once again they have that "James Bond title track" vibe which is just so amazing! :D

One should really brush up on one's lyrics if it's been twenty years since you last took a stab at it. Trust, all of the Garbage fans in the crowd were singing them correctly.
But her voice sounds better than on the studio version and it has much more power live. I was so impressed by this performance and she was so into it I wouldn't even have noticed she forgot some of the lyrics. So she clearly did not destroy the song. You should listen (or better not) to some concerts from Courtney Love from the latest years. Then you will see what it really means to destroy your own songs.

I also thought the spacing was strange and the lyrics were off..the band of course sounded like fire and shirley usually nails everything so I just assumed that she was having a bad moment or something was going on.
