So I completely avoided talking about my Japanese learning journal, because yup, you guessed it, not going great. I think part of it is because I haven't done much writing exercises but have stuck to a lot of vocab practice.

Thank you so much! The Gillio is probably the most luxurious smelling leather planner I've ever owned. Just so sad its not working for me as I wanted haha.

I am AuDHD (Autistic/ADHD), we write and say things literally, and there is no subtext/sub meaning. So if I say something it is just pointing out something I have done myself. I have a regular cover on my A5 Cousin, and A6 of the Merry Log Book. I take my A5 out of the cover for writing and planning. Then put it back after I have finished that task for the day. I do not want you to fall out of love with your Log Book. I do this because the things in the pockets make an uneven writing surface, and now that it is getting later in the year with my year in one book, I just like to try to make it lay more even. So have you thought of just removing it, planing your week, write your entry, then placing it back in? Also if you are blocked artistically go for a hike, get out of. nature, I find it helps me a heck of a lot when I am in that situation. It is something about nature that is inspirational. Do not force your thoughts, just walk or sit or watch. Just take it easy on your paralysis with your artwork.
Oh you got to that point! I do put my cover on to protect my book daily. Oh and in urban geography we learn about how if you put in more lanes on a freeway/highway, people driving in to work will increase with the extra lanes. A few years later it is in gridlock again.
