Hmm...I see why the "Xros Heart" deck draws so much. Wild how many tamers you were able to put on the board. The "DarkKnightmon" deck could only sit there and wait for the game to end. Are there any option cards available to delete tamers ?

This Xros deck reminds me of the "super friends" archetype from magic the gathering because of the all the backline tamers and all the colors coming together. Except unlike super friends, this deck actually works because there's actual synergy lmao
The save feature looks like it would work very well with the spirit/hybrid digimon. Those resurrected legendary warriors will be able to benefit from having digivolution sources now.
@@Akoltin Hard to elaborate the thoughts I had from 3 months ago I barely remember. All I can say is the cards that have Save all require you to have [Shoutmon] in their name for their effects. This is not the case for the Bagra Army cards, as their only effect is trashing them and gaining a memory. One could say you could digivolve into a hybrid then a Shoutmon, but then again you'd be better off playing the pure strategy of the Xros Heart.

Kinda sad that the B Xros variants aren't going to be too viable. But crazy that this deck list for Xros Heart is almost identical to another one I saw this morning! Literally the only differences are they did not use Christopher and only Tai for the Memory Tamer and I believe they used 2/3 Pyro Spheres as well. *PS The moment one of the battle themes from Xros Wars started playing the hype got real! The soundtrack for that show was SO good.

I was wondering how digixros worked since I never saw the anime it's from. Seems like a pretty safe deck considering there isn't a lot of Tamer removal in the game.
Ok that was insane draw power from Xros Heart! All those tamer abilities were really doing so much work for both sides. Man I cannot wait for more future support for digixros, praying for Bandai to make a X6 that was only seen in the manga then go for a SEC X7 superior mode on top of that!
Love these videos! I appreciate you using the dub names to try and help us even though they didn’t go that route in the international release. I guess since the whole series wasn’t dubbed, they didn’t want to go with Mikey. That said, I am watching sub for that exact reason. The OST also got me more hyped than I would have expected.
I'm really excited about this expansion, just started playing 3 weeks ago and order a box of BT-10 it won't be release until October 15 in Mexico but watching these videos is really cool and helpful to get an idea of what im getting
Not just underrated but very under-appreciated for sure and while it’s decent narrative-wise, all the characters were decently unique and complex in their own way, always loved Mikey/Taiki and Nene Amano the most given they’re the cutest when together and the OST is very good for the most part!!! 🙂

i fell like x7 will be level 7 digimon who have digi cross mechanic. Imagin combine 7 digimon to play it for free event though i can see the pain in eraly game.
On one hand im sad to see darkknightmon lose, but on the other hand im hoping that since I keep seeing it lose it will be cheap to pickup and get into the game.
@@CardProtagonist If there's one thing I did understand the deck plays very thematic. Very much like the anime. I felt like I was watching an actual episode with how they brought the series gimmick into card form 🤩
I imagine people will play a lot of Black Wargreymon and Zwart Defeat in Skullknightmon lists as the counter to Shoutmon by deleting Tamers and cutting off the advantage from save.
The deck also gets utterly ruined by Dexmon, due to its on-play DeDigivolve and delete effect, which causes Xros Heart to lose basically all the materials they used to make X4/X5- and most of the materials for X4B as well- only X5B can be considered relatively 'safe'.
@@CardProtagonist Doesn't one of the cards have the "Jamming" ability ? I know I saw "Piercing" used in the video. Seems rare that you would run into a big blocker. Again, thanks for the heads up !
@@breaktube A pure Xros Heart deck just really struggles with big beefy bodies in general due to a lack of removal options outside of attacking- not helped by Burning Star Crusher's delete effect being based on a Shoutmon form's DP. The strongest Digimon they can feasibly get out would be a 15K Shoutmon X5B, and that's only if Shoutmon King Ver. is one of the materials- and that requires, y'know, actually RUNNING X5B to begin with. Magnamon X in particular just ruins Xros Heart since it's just a tad too big for X5 to get over. Also, no Xros Heart Digimon has Jamming. It does have X5 _does_ get Rush, Piercing and Reboot from inheritables (Shoutmon, Ballistamon and Sparrowmon's, respectively), but Jamming is right out, so X5 can sometimes have a bad tendency to run headfirst into a 12k body in security and get deleted, even through Dorulu's inheritable.
DarkKnightmon looks really good, and it's the deck that I'm going to play, but Xros Heart just looks better. It's faster and can attack more. The only way to beat looks to be a deck based around De-Digivolve. Then things like Material Save don't activate.
@@anthonyle9788 yep, de-digivolve is ideal for this deck. Darkknightmon can also be turned into an OTK style deck with x-antibody. Get +1 sec skullknightmon under a darkknightmon, but x antibody under it, attack and digivolve into darkknightmon x antibody, pop a tamer (if you need the memory, pop Nene) and unsuspend, swing for another 2 checks and then swing with a random digimon out of raising. The darkknightmon x alone can burn through 4 security, so I think it can be fast
@@James-lu2jn I know that, it's just now I know Xros Heart is going to be incredibly difficult to fight with a DarkKnightmon deck, which is bad news for me. I thought that Diaboromon might work well, since you can fill the board with tokens that have Blocker, and stop any X4 rushing, but if they have Ballistamon underneath it doesn't matter. Blue Hybrid is down the drain since freezing doesn't matter if the Digimon is freshly played over and over again. Since they don't even need a Level 6 to win the game, they can use that space for more utility Digimon or options. Chances are they'll fill it with Tamers instead. Popping a Tamer only matters late game after hit their stride, in which they're already dead. X5 might even be able to match DKM X in DP on some occasions.
@@anthonyle9788 I think xros is strong, but is really weak because of how much trouble it has in security. Running cards like chikuurimon, ultimate flare, or literally any removal. Plus blocking with darkknightmon x-antibody to play new darkknightmon and de-digivolve the xros stack completely ruins the push. Darkknightmon, on the other hand, can actually gain advantage from dying in security.
No Doubt about Xros Heart deck will winning this match, in every video I watch in youtube Xros Heart always win against every opponent(especialy agains other BT-10 deck). very strong new deck indeed & I see this deck winning some tournament too
I think there is a error on the video, which X4 cannot save all the materials. It should only choose two to save. I am not sure can you still digi-cross so many time after fixing this.
Was interested in picking up Xros now that's it's coming in English, since I have found a local that's closish to where I live, wanted to ask how important are the shoutmon King? Since 2 copies cost as mush as the rest of the deck xD
At 0:33 you cannot use any of Hero of the Skies right? It says if you have a Shoutmon in play, but you do not, you only have it in breeding and that shouldn't count...
You misread the effect. You need [Shoutmon X5] (not normal Shoutmon, btw) in play to activate _both effects_ of the option. Otherwise, you can only _choose_ one of the effects.

Correct me if I'm wrong but how did CProtagonist play an option card on his first turn with only a shoutmon in his breeding area, don't you have to have a tamer or digimon on the field to use an option?
when a digimon with digivolution cards under it gets deleted and the digimon have effects under it that say on deletion for say do they also get those effects when heading to the trash or are they null void?
@@articunoxx I think what he’s implying is what’s called a hard once once per turn, But I also don’t agree it’s quite broken because you have to save a bunch of x4 in order to do this attack loop
They made it so x4 at least cost 1 memory so it isn’t able to be done infinitely. Which is why x5 can be free too though. I agree that it’s really strong

The Xros heart was so confusing and neat that it almost looked like cheating. Loved it.
Its cause X4 is so broken they had to restrict it to 1 cause you could play several in 1 turn for 1 cost and re-use all the same materials lmao

Sadly the inheritables are name specific besides the Bagra army, but they don't do anything for a hybrid either. They definitely thought about that.

The Xros Hearts save ability seems a bit confusing, but also understandable. It seems like that could be very busted if worked right.

I think its viable only when the opponent has little to no security. otherwise crashing into a big digimon will stop the combo. 🥲

@@breaktube armor rush with magnamon x will clear the deck really easy expecially if you don't run any removel and just focus on attacking security.

Magnamon X in particular just ruins Xros Heart since it's just a tad too big for X5 to get over.
Also, no Xros Heart Digimon has Jamming. It does have X5 _does_ get Rush, Piercing and Reboot from inheritables (Shoutmon, Ballistamon and Sparrowmon's, respectively), but Jamming is right out, so X5 can sometimes have a bad tendency to run headfirst into a 12k body in security and get deleted, even through Dorulu's inheritable.
All of those tamers, so many saves its noice

Loved the video. I think overall darkknightmon is the better deck, but fun to watch nonetheless!
DarkKnightmon looks really good, and it's the deck that I'm going to play, but Xros Heart just looks better. It's faster and can attack more. The only way to beat looks to be a deck based around De-Digivolve. Then things like Material Save don't activate.
@@anthonyle9788 yep, de-digivolve is ideal for this deck. Darkknightmon can also be turned into an OTK style deck with x-antibody. Get +1 sec skullknightmon under a darkknightmon, but x antibody under it, attack and digivolve into darkknightmon x antibody, pop a tamer (if you need the memory, pop Nene) and unsuspend, swing for another 2 checks and then swing with a random digimon out of raising. The darkknightmon x alone can burn through 4 security, so I think it can be fast
@@James-lu2jn I know that, it's just now I know Xros Heart is going to be incredibly difficult to fight with a DarkKnightmon deck, which is bad news for me. I thought that Diaboromon might work well, since you can fill the board with tokens that have Blocker, and stop any X4 rushing, but if they have Ballistamon underneath it doesn't matter. Blue Hybrid is down the drain since freezing doesn't matter if the Digimon is freshly played over and over again. Since they don't even need a Level 6 to win the game, they can use that space for more utility Digimon or options. Chances are they'll fill it with Tamers instead. Popping a Tamer only matters late game after hit their stride, in which they're already dead. X5 might even be able to match DKM X in DP on some occasions.
@@anthonyle9788 I think xros is strong, but is really weak because of how much trouble it has in security. Running cards like chikuurimon, ultimate flare, or literally any removal. Plus blocking with darkknightmon x-antibody to play new darkknightmon and de-digivolve the xros stack completely ruins the push. Darkknightmon, on the other hand, can actually gain advantage from dying in security.
True! I actually love both decks! They both Digi-Xros but have a different mechanic!
No Doubt about Xros Heart deck will winning this match, in every video I watch in youtube Xros Heart always win against every opponent(especialy agains other BT-10 deck).

I think there is a error on the video, which X4 cannot save all the materials. It should only choose two to save. I am not sure can you still digi-cross so many time after fixing this.

At 0:33 you cannot use any of Hero of the Skies right? It says if you have a Shoutmon in play, but you do not, you only have it in breeding and that shouldn't count...
You misread the effect. You need [Shoutmon X5] (not normal Shoutmon, btw) in play to activate _both effects_ of the option. Otherwise, you can only _choose_ one of the effects.

Correct me if I'm wrong but how did CProtagonist play an option card on his first turn with only a shoutmon in his breeding area, don't you have to have a tamer or digimon on the field to use an option?
I know this is old, but digimon in the raising area can contribute to color requirements for options.

It's not mandatory, so he can choose to activate or not

when a digimon with digivolution cards under it gets deleted and the digimon have effects under it that say on deletion for say do they also get those effects when heading to the trash or are they null void?

But I also don’t agree it’s quite broken because you have to save a bunch of x4 in order to do this attack loop
They made it so x4 at least cost 1 memory so it isn’t able to be done infinitely. Which is why x5 can be free too though. I agree that it’s really strong
how many x4 and x5 can you accumulate in the hand max, note that everytime x4 is summoned, its like a pot of greed
Depends on ur memory, u can also just shoutmon king version to help get back a x4/x5

Sparrowmon can digivolve onto digimon of any color if it has xros heart in it's traits
