About Chase Eagleson:
Chase Eagleson is best known for his work on his TH-cam channel covering popular songs in an acoustic style and performing original music. I love how the narrative of this song connects up on "Work Song." When he says "Why were you digging? What did you bury? ....In some sad way I already know" the answer is given in this verse:

I didn't care much how long I lived

She lost a child, and by nurturing this man she found at rock bottom she's fulfilling her instinct to care for something. They find a fragile solace in each other in the present moment, each knowing that to speak of the past might shatter the whole thing. Just my theory though. Anyone else notice this connection?

I've listened to two different kinds of Real people Do now, this being the second. And I swear, both and the original are just so amazing. What I like about this is how the two sang it, as well as how the lighting of the two and the white noise at the start. The little candle burning so silently as it flickers. This was just amazing. Woah.

Soon it will be summer again.
Soon I'll be sitting outside just past sunset, with fireflies and mosquitoes floating lazily around me, and a dying fire with marshmallows roasters propped against it at the center of a camp site. Somewhere, a kid will be yelling and having the time of their childhood. Somewhere, a soft guitar will lift into the night on the smoke and embers and quiet voices will hum alongside it.
Soon it will be summer again. My hair will be sun bleached and damaged by chlorine and salt water. It will never feel smooth like it did in the other seasons, but it feels like life is right and I am happy. My skin is dark and I show off my tan lines like badges, saying this is how long I spent outside today. This is how long I was in nature. This is how long I was alive. I smell like sweat and sunscreen and mangoes and watermelon and I will go to sleep in my hammock without worrying about what I have to do tomorrow.
Soon it will be summer again. I will look for romance in every coffee shop and hiking trail, and when I find friendship, I'll laugh and pin it in my photo album titled "When I Am Happy". I will take photos on old dingy cameras and refuse to record anything beyond proof to my mother that I'm alive. I will explore the world that exists in campsites and city pools and hiking trails and hot bus stops. Soon my goal will flit from moment to moment on what gives me adventure, joy, and a good story.
And soon it will be summer again. Soon, soon, soon.
In these cold winter months I have to remember.

Harmonization is mag-no-phiza-kant. The cross-over so precise it was Angelic. There is a sound I see you two absolutely mystifying any crowd with....ohhhh. I whis you saw your full potential. Your perfect as it is, but there is more. So much more. The both of you combined can make an orchestra of sounds....just from your voice. Just imagine if you had the direction it was to go yo...and whom to recieve that voice....or to combine with another. It would be experimentally epic.
