What’s the OTT boom?
That's right! Teach the younins'!
You know, it wasn’t til I was maybe 19-20 when I finally admitted it to myself that I was gay. But I didn’t really have the whole “tragedy” or whatever about coming to terms with it. I just didn’t bother with romantic stuff cuz I didn’t see the point when I didn’t have a car or a job to make it happen. Plus I put school above everything else. But I still get why it’s a big deal to not forget things were rougher back then, and still are in some areas. Here’s one thing I hope those shitsticks on the Supreme Court remember: how Stonewall started
Will looks so hot lecturing!😍
to apricate the present you have to take a walk down history.
finally WILL is great !! and not a WIMP BRAVO
🤣🤣🤣🤣
pretty priv 😂 "suuuper hot" 😍
History puff
This character feels like it was written by someone who simultaneously doesn't understand and hates younger people.
Do you think its about hating younger ppl or about sending a clear message & maybe the delivery hurt a bit? I mean there's a different episode that tackles biphobia and the younger people are teaching will & grace. These are set characters so sometimes it can't be the same 4 ppl learning things from each other. Plus young ppl are people ie individuals. They cant all be the aware character.
@@rensins08 I think the message is just poorly done.
Ben is such a natural at comedy.
OK, Mr. Sugarbaker!!!
Why would he quote Julia Sugarbaker? 😄😂🤣
Because earlier at the begining of the episode he mentioned the same quote to Grace for I forgot what reason.
@@rick90604whittier Oh, I got it. It’s even funnier (or more horrible) to think that one must be of a certain age to truly get why it’s funny.
The elephant in the room is the deplorable legal system that seems to forget the 'for the people by the people'.......archaic and needs a review especially for the future of the US.
My boyfriend Will with my boyfriend Ben Platt. I can die now...
Ben Platt is TOO adorbs!
I appreciate the fact they are drinking white wine. Clearly a sauv blanc.
And we will always be under attack
Ben Platt is amazing..
Where's Meghan?
They didn’t have to drag Madonna’s looks though, putting a woman down for a cheap joke ain’t it, especially when he goes on to say she was there for us. How about a little respect?
agreed. what i think is he was implying how younger people hate on her so much. it was still unnecessary.
Rest easy. I've poured the foundation for a church.
Totally. She was on this show as a guest star too! Why make fun of her?
@@kevinhsu8184 cut to me being annoyed at Will
I concur. She did a lot for them. Compassion that is quiet but manifested rights.
I feel so old :(
S A M E
This is typical of this generation, I remember the A.I D. S. crisis, being mindful of sex, protesting discrimination, seeing the quilt. Now it’s “these are my pronouns,” and I want to add onto a rainbow flag that is the ultimate expression of a spectrum. It just seems it’s less about creating a diverse community and more about self interest. I want to be seen as unique, not see us as a community. Ok I know I’m ranting, but I miss my gay bookstore in my gay ghetto next to the community center. Cancel culture has canceled our culture.
Very passionate and moving. One question - what's a bookstore?
@@omrabj 🤡🤪😆😂🤣👍🏼
you want to fight for your rights again and deal with an epidemic? move to florida or any other state governed by a right wing gop christian fanatic.
@@bsquared4604 you missed the point. Yes fighting was hard but so were the friendships and sense of community that sprang forth because of it. Yes there was a fragility of life but it made living precious and celebratory. Remember how we all tuned in to Ellen’s coming out on tv, or how Will and Grace was watched. Yes, we have come far but now that we are assimilating those things that distinguished us are disappearing too. Yes, it was tough but it wasn’t all that bad either.
@@calvinbethea3369 I think That's what the establishment wanted, for us to slink back into our velvet lounges in shame and be quiet about it. They miss the days when we would pretend to be straight. Lie to women to get voter babies. But you are so right. That fight and real fear of AIDS. Gave us a strong community, and with that, community strength. And I loved those days. The LGTBQ 's don't understand how subtle those victories were. And fragile. Ben Platt and Beanie just represent how glib this new community is about our fight for their rights. Of course , all there dreams should come true. It's Bennie and Beanie. No self awareness.
Yeah that's a downer.
Will and Grace was so good before the laugh track.
🏳️🌈 Never forget 🏳️🌈
The young guy seems too strawman-y
Ben....too young to understand the Julia Sugarbaker Designing Women reference!
What does it mean though?
@@IslanderloverBKK it’s a reference to a character on Designing Women, a sitcom from the 80s.
@alexac3098 How's it no different than elder gays not getting today's new gay culture references
❤️❤️❤️
This was done a few years ago on will and grace but illustrates certain points exactly

Joseph and today TV
1:05 Damnit Will, wait til AFTER sex before you talk about his political bs.
This hasn't aged well. All Will's points are great but with the end of Roe v Wade heralding the loss of many other rights, Don't Say Gay, anti-trans bills, the banning of LGBT books... kids know what is going on. 5 years ago I guess it seemed that real LGBT equality was on the horizon but that was short lived. I don't really think younger people were ever as clueless as this scene made it seem.
not more gay men portraying gay men 😂😂😂😂
Someone sounds bitter....
This is what we call projection.
Ugh. I can’t stand Ben Platt
Ben Platt is just annoying!
