Everytime when i think i am gonna leave feild tired of not not getting clients, then I just come this channel and get movited.hoping good future for me .
Preach 🙏 It's the exact same situation for videographers, designers and photographers - most don't see the forest through the trees and are stuck competing eachother to bankrupcy based on price and quality VS the actual results their clients truly care about which is never a pretty photo/video/render but actual traffic and sales 👀
Great video - really appreciate the insight and agree - as designers/3D artists we need to be pivoting to affecting business outcomes, not just providing eye candy (which AI can do rapidly)
Thank you for sharing! I love how you go into the A/B tests and also using Figma to rapidly iterate. Good tip for the AI use, I'll look into using it for textures :)
This was a really great video and I appreciate it. I would love to know more about how you acquire clients and the kinds of emails and correspondence you have to acquire them.
oh, this render would be great on this kinda concept but in horizontal version, I think + we can make it bigger then competitor (like not equal sections, but big for product and small for boring competitor)
I see you failed to convince the Notable people to redesign their generic label. Oh well, can't win em all, I guess. Mebbe they're selling well with that design somehow. Anyway, thank you for making this video! You managed to address several things most designers fail to focus on in one tutorial. At least noobs like me. I'm an old dog, but still willing to learn new tricks. It's either that or the bread line...
Hey man. I recently started on product visualisation and I watched some of your previous videos on finding clients. I currently have an instagram account with 10k followers on blender tutorials and game assets I've made. Do you think I should make another account just for the products stuff, or should I go from what I have since it does look better to have a bunch of followers? Thank you!
I think having a personal brand attached to it is a great advantage. I haven't seen your page but you can slightly shift your content if you need to. With that said if it feels a little bit cluttered, or if there's any "work in progress"/unfinished work posted, I'd just be aware of that. Most important thing in my opinion is that your feed looks professional and skillfully curated at a glance
Could you please make a crash course for using figma? I know there are lots of channels about figma yet I really love your approach. Eventually could you recomend any channel or specific video about figma? Thanks in advance!
Thank you! I will think of ways to integrate it into my content. To be honest I picked it up so fast coming from Illustrator. I can't recommend any specific vids because I mostly figured it out just by doing it and carrying over principles from Illustrator. It's free though, so there's definitely a ton out there already!
Thank you for the wonderful content. I have a question: Is it possible to create an individual agency to design advertisements only without the need to photograph the product? I mean, I use photos, videos, and assets through the owner of the product, and I make a montage and design an advertising video that will be converted using UGC if this is requested from a client. I am an individual and do not want to enter into calls. Video with clients. Can I offer an ad creative video design service through my website only, or will this be useless? Is it better, as a start, to target e-commerce and DTC or drop shipping to design ads for them? If I will specialize in designing advertisements for products, is it better to learn Blender for product design? Sorry for taking so long, your advice is appreciated and will make a difference in my life. I am 37 years old
I'm sure it would be useful for some. I haven't seen many agencies that only focus on the design aspect. Most agencies I've talked to will run the entire Facebook account which is definitely a rabbithole of its own and requires decent experience to offer as a service. In general I would suggest figuring out how to get comfortable on calls or on camera. You may be able to dodge it sometimes but ultimately you will be held back if you can't talk with clients face to face. I work with DTC because dropshippers in 2024 don't really have money, and if they do it's pretty short term. Most established dropshipping businesses eventually fail if they don't aggressively scale and get exclusive manufacturing + 3PL for their product. Definitely best to work with people who have skin in the game too. I probably wouldn't take the time to learn Blender just for this purpose but if you already can use it decently well it's a good option. This one is definitely up to you and relies more on your skill level Best of luck!
@@renderer Thank you. I have the skill of designing landing pages and designing advertising videos for products. Editing using the client’s assets. What is your suggestion for what is best for me for the coming period? Should I serve the field of e-commerce or serve SMBs?
More info about the license would be great..how many times can they use our work for how many projects or ads..if I for example made for the client a 3d render and some animation of it, how long can they use it for how many projects, and what should be the cost if I in the beginning for the work charged 3k let's say. The client wants to use the work in one of his other projects later, should I charge another 3k or less.. something like that if you understand ?! AND how should a License look like? sorry for the bad eng :)
I wouldn't worry about any of this. They should have full permission to use it forever. If they pay to have it made once they should own full rights to it
Hey, I heard you switched to macOS! How’s Blender treating you? Are the new shortcuts driving you nuts? And how about that trackpad-love it or hate it? Overall, is macOS making things better or just slowing you down?
Love it. Feels great to not be tethered to a desk. Cycles isn't that fast since there's no Nvidia, but overall the Mac experience is so much better in every way. Love having the Apple Messages app, FaceTime, and everything syncs with the phone Trackpad is responsive and intuitive, keyboard is significantly easier to type on than the mechanical keyboard I was using before on Windows. Screen is exceptionally high quality + 120hz Apple ecosystem is arguably an inescapable trap but I really don't intend on leaving lol Highly recommend a MacBook as a productivity machine. Generally shaves seconds & minutes off every task which adds up long term Just make sure to get the M1 or newer because the previous gen MacBooks were awful (I had a 2017)
Magic mouse is unusable imo. Some people like it but most people agree that it sucks. I had a Logitech MX Master 3 but switched to a Logitech Superlight 2 (It's a gaming mouse I used for Counter Strike). I ended up abandoning the MX Master 3 and switching to the Superlight because the MX felt enormous and clunky after. Some people complain about carpal tunnel syndrome with non ergnomic mice but tbh you should be standing up, walking around and stretching at least every hour or so. Take breaks and you should get by fine. I do most of my work from the couch using the MacBook keyboard and trackpad nowadays. I only use my mouse at my desk if I need precision (like in Blender)
Hey man, I like you a lot and I have been watching your videos for a while now but I noticed that you blocked my IP so I can’t access your website, just wandering why this is, do you not want your viewers to use your website as a reference when creating their own or do you have an algorithm that flags accounts based on repeated visits without purchases? Anyway I was just interested why this happened to me, keep up the great content 🤟
ahh that makes sense, I would respect any decision made by you anyway as you have provided me and others alike with so much value. Do you need a website to charge clients or is it more of a trust/convenience thing for you?
No one likes it bro, but if you keep complaining about it nothing is gonna get better for you, art people bash ai, normal people don't care, and tech bros rejoice
@@kaigorodaki I will never stop talking about how AI (specifically MJ) is created off mass theft. Hopefully we see something from the multiple lawsuits! It also looks like trash. As soon as something looks generated it says "cheap and lazy".
@@renderergreat video, but ironically the ai component of this video is negligible. Ad search has been around for yonks and a mid journey background reduced by 90% opacity isn’t doing much a royalty free texture couldn’t do. Love to see some full on AI workflows.

This is great. I work in conversion rate optimisation. I'm sure I could combine these skills.
I do product rendering too and this would be a great addition. Gonna give it a go and see how it goes
I would appreciate more information on how exactly you would utilize this. Like how you are connecting with the potential client and such
I have many vids about this actually!
Really solid walkthrough! ❤. By the way, do you hire copywriter, ask the client or just write few versions of copywriting by yourself? 🙂
Thank you! This is definitely on a situational basis. I recommend to just talk to the client and figure out what they need.
