Their matket studies are outdated. That was intended for retired couples or anyone able to drive those big bus RVs.....
I wonder how the real Christmas Sales are doing. Return rate will break a record.
It’s the ghost of things to come.
These are the same as the new trucks selling for around 95k to 110k. This economy is upside down everywhere you turn. Homes, food , jobs etc…
Yet homes still up 6.5% year over year.......restaurant parking lots filled to the rim!.........um......ok
@Robert-bg2nm the bubble will break soon. 😅
Politicians can still afford them, their on permanent holiday's!!
They are always on vacation. The average person would never get the number of days they get. 😢… Wouldn’t you think they could work until the middle of Dec.😢
The budget they are currently working on right now, includes a pay raise for themselves.
I can totally see why Clarence Thomas would sell out and betray the public trust for one of these nice luxury RVs!
Beautiful luxury liners indeed
$170K is far beyond the average person's camping budget.
Very enjoyable video. Thank you sir
Well it's California. I thought there is now a law there where you can't buy an RV. California keeps digging a really deep hole for itself.
Unfortunately
I think the law you reference has to do with diesel pusher type RVs that emit harmful particulate exhaust fumes rather than RVs that are towed by another vehicle.
@@calzenner830 That attitude is exactly the problem. Those vehicles already went through emissions reduction. It's just the general war on fuel use, and especially diesel fuel use by extremist
Why would anyone want to live there anymore? Same w/ Florida, (bad weather, flooding) high cost of living.
The law only applies to motor homes with diesel engines
JB the jobs numbers are manipulated those are mostly government jobs and low paying jobs and second jobs people needed to get because of high cost of living.
They came to my Grandson's School a Fed Observer with a laptop, asking kids if they got an Allowance. Raise of hands....counted....are those are part of Biden's phony job numbers? ' Part time workers'... ?
I live right outside of Elkhart, Indiana the RV capital where we make them all and I know production is down from what others have told us when we go down. It will be really bad for our area.
I'm just north of Elkhart. My nephew was laid off from an RV factory a couple of years ago. It's been slowing down for some time now.
If they had built them better and didn't treat customers like rubbish they would still be selling them. What goes around comes around.
Most people that aren't normies have seen horror stories about how bad the manufacturing quality is. A sucker is born every second.
Think its over. I'd rather keep my money than waste it on a novelty item. No. Having owned several motorhome, trailers. Once you get past it you rethink getting into debt.
If your rig is older than 10 years you have less camping options.
Absolutely right. Many snobby campgrounds won't let you pay to stay if you rig is older than 10years no matter the condition. It can look brand new, and they say, "no" can't stay here.
They will be next to go under.
I wouldnt buy an RV now. Most likely never.
The look on your banker's face I want to borrow half a million on something that is going to depreciate quickly. Bankers look is priceless.
Not with the So.Comifornia gas prices thanks to Grusome Newsome
And smog next year.
Why do the people keep electing Newsome?
Yeah, because we all know that state governors controll the price of gas. You people on this channel really aren't that intelligent are you? Remember, that's why Trumpty Dumpty loves you so much. Uneducated.
Those are for people with money to burn.
Everyone now has money that burns - due to high inflation.
Just bought a 35’ Class A. $239,000 unit, got it for $133,00. 6.7% interest. I full time it. Deals are to be had.
Nice!
Is it brand new with zero miles.
@@russellstewart5414only mileage from Iowa to Texas
Good 🤞 luck
@@arriagada1957it’s an RV… luck won’t work…prayer is the only hope😆!
When more people have to sell the house .
Rvs will make a come back
Where do you put the RV?
They can't afford the campgrounds they're outrageous these days, same price as a hotel
@@terry_willis there are hundreds of free camping grounds where I'm from
😅😅😅
rV’s world is long gone
RV prices have kept rising and rising and quality has been going down and down. No wonder they can't sell the junk they built. They keep having build defects. water leaks, and other issues, while asking the price of a god damn house...
I'd rather get a popup camper or fiberglass trailer instead of those expensive hunks of cheap lumber. Wait, I already got a tiny fiberglass camper instead of those expensive hunks of crap.
Who can pay for that junk now that wages are so low and housing cost so high?
The 5th wheels and Class A's are like when you book a cruise and stay on the ship during a port day. You got so much room, your house is the same only thing changes is the scenery
I can only afford to buy things I need. Spending $250,000 on a faddish toy is ridiculous.
Considering I can't afford brick and mortar and am single with a dog, I can't decide between a used class A or a fifth wheel trailer I'd pay to have moved to a spot ... Bout my only chance to have a place of "my own"
589k I wouldn't pay 58k
Those prices are ridiculous. I wouldn't pay half those sale prices.
Thanks for sharing. Troubling......from the Ozarks
The Mark up on these things are crazy..
The values of the new ones depreciate quick.
Many people are struggling to afford their actual homes so they aren’t looking to buy a motor home.
Frankly, I could never get used to driving a RV.
NEVER AN RV!
RV trailers are a constant drain on your wallet. Property taxes, registration, and always fixing something/maintenance costs.
houses weren't intended to have wheels added and driven around the country . ITs just an accident waiting to happen and cost you more $$$$
Where are the small 16ft travel trailers? Rv industry acts like we're all " got rocks" and buying luxury.
That’s who they cater to.
I had a 22 foot Kodiak trailer…beautiful trailer, which I sold. I’m not paying for storage costs.
Just trying getting it worked on , good luck .
Plus they depreciate they do not hold their value. People can now get an old bus or van and do a build and come out cheaper with all the wanted amenities
I have voice enjoyed your walkthroughs with the RV industry. No people just like the rest of the world hurting no money nothing selling food good luck bro
RV's won't recover for many years, not until manufacturers start building quality RV's and provide timely service.
buy an RV with no appliances.....then go to home depot lowes and get you stuff....RV fridges are garbage!
If nobody are buying these, why aren’t the prices coming down? I was at an rv lot a week ago, and everything is priced out of my budget. I do really well, and could not come to a conclusion that made sense financially to purchase one.
$100,000+ on a product that falls apart quickly
RV sales are down, but CEO hitmen jobs are up.
Las Vegas is worse economically than So. Cal
Two bad the RV industry started building junk and ignored people that had issues with leaks, cracked frames and so many other problem, no wonder why no one is at the RV show. RV industry got what they asked for.
Still cheaper than a house. And you can move it when you want.
I just can’t see the prices on the RV’s when people are out of work. There are still a lot of places where you couldn’t take it because of terrain
People are buying more cottage built camping systems now. The quality of them are unmatched and so is the simplicity of some. The builders stand by them and honor warrantys. Cottage camper brand examples are, Cool camp, Hiker trailers, wander tears, Bean, just to name afew.
Donate them, and write them off. ❤
Maybe you could buy it and you could donate it
