Pauly is my favorite! I wish every vlog featured him. He’s so funny, but his compassion for the horses speaks volumes! I love the education he provides when he talks about the hoof problems. Wish he could have been my farrier! I live on the east side of Wisconsin though lol.

@@suebee1436 Exactly. I work 3 back to back 12 hours shifts for$20/hr. and you'd think I could make it, but thats not true at all. With all that hard work I barely have enough to pay my bills, and I know there are so many who make even less than me. At 54 years old I'm wiped out after these shifts qnd its like I lose days just to get the rest I need to be healthy. I'm all by myself because I'm supporting my kid in college, so there's no one to split those bills and make life easier. We're planning on teaming up after he graduates, but reality is he may want his own path. With kids you never know. I have made sacrifices my whole life and its very upsetting that things that used to be free are all starting to charge money making it harder on us. Its not that I don't understand the other side might need more money, but in chasing the green many lose sight of humanity and what it means to also consider how important it is to remain a community with many pay grades and compassion for those who just dont have it. So always maintaining community and not alienating certain groups of that community is very important. As in all things, balance! Personally, I'd like to see the world slave system abolished, because we truly have no excuse to have such a division in the quality of life people are allowed to have.

@highhopes151 Thank you sooo much! It was the scariest thing I've been thru since I was 6 yrs old when I was hit by a car on a hwy! I'd go thru anything else but that stroke again!! I truly hate not having control of my own body!

For those having issues signing up for a membership, if you’re on an iOS device you might not see a Join button since joining channels is not 100% supported yet on iOS for all channels. Easiest work around is to open TH-cam in either your device’s browser or on a computer and join from there. Your membership will carry over across any platform you view from after you’ve joined.
For those not seeing join button you may need to check your TH-cam settings to allow memberships. I'm a member of multiple channels and sometimes people gift a month of membership but you have to have that option switched on in your TH-cam account

This is good news to me, but I have a couple of questions. Would I be able to communicate with Paulie directly, and get some tips on trimming a foundered mini, who thankfully has minimal rotation but outrageously weird and rapid hoof growth? Maybe post photos and x-rays of her hooves and receive diagrammed trim points? Because that would mean the world to me and my little sweetheart who got out of the pasture and munched on something she shouldn't have. She's not metabolic, she's not chubby, and she has no underlying issues so I'm inclined to believe that it was a toxin related laminitic episode. Despite my aching, excuse me, aging mid-fifties post-menopausal body (I swear, I can feel strength leaving me by a tiny bit, every day), I'm a halfway decent trimmer, though I've never nailed a shoe on in my life. My husband was once a farrier, but an injury to his knee knocked him out of it. No, it wasn't a horse that did it, it was the Infantry. I rescue a horse every few years or so, and I manage to get them going in the right direction again. My biggest problem is that here in East Texas, at this time of year, their hooves are so hard! It's all I can do to take small slivers out of their hooves, and I'm using GE nippers! It makes it an arduous task and one that wears me out. That's why I need an experienced farrier whom I know can give me the pointers I need to show me how to get it done with the least energy expended as possible. I'm not wanting him to become my personal coach and train me on trimming all horses, but I'd love to be able to consult with him if he'd be so kind as to share his knowledge with me. I'd be eternally grateful. Thank you all for saving so many horses at the auction! I really respect your organization. I've seen too many shouldn't-be-501(c)3's and truly appreciate Pony Tales for not being one of them!
