I'm dieing laughing.... 'hope u get strip searched ' to the old boy 😂😂😂😂.. that killed me 😂..that squeeky bike! Imagine doing that trip on that bike with that squeeking noise😂.. I probably ride it off the pyrenees mountains, that would do my head in. great video mate.
@@yazr1762 mate stop it 😂😂😂 I didn’t realise I left that bit in the edit about the old boy. Felt terrible watching it back yesterday… usually proof watch it before uploading but didn’t with this one 🤦🏻♂️ Mate, that squeaky old Harley. Fucking mental. Why put yourself through it. The guy at the British passport office booth was laughing like WTF? That’s why I looked the way I did too 😂 Too funny mate. You’ll be on the next trip. Now that would be some serious laughs
Hi Aaron. Just watched the FINALE. Another entertaining episode. Cracked up at the bit where you were behind the old boy. 😂😂😂😂So funny.Hope you’re feeling a lot better now. Bit of a bummer not being well. Might bump into you on the next trip if not before.
@@stevencastle6445 I can’t believe I left that in Steve I was supposed to remove that 😩😂 Thanks for watching mate, and we’re going for that beer soon 🤙🏻
What a great trip Aaron, plenty of ups and a few downs. You did well mate, don't think it s something I would think of doing only own but you did it mate, lots of memories well done 👊
@@PaulChilds-t4c thanks Paul. I’ve really enjoyed the whole trip and hopefully inspiring others to do the same. It was certainly the kind of thing I was looking for last year when I was just dreaming about making a trip of my own. Thanks again, reallly appreciate the great feedback 👍🏻
Thanks Paul, really good to hear that kind of feedback and of course on a beer. My drinking month is coming up too, not had a beer for over three weeks in preparation for it already 😂
A McD or a good hot Curry sorts the bugs out. Ive really enjoyed your trip. Sitting here in freezing cold West Sussex is warming up. Keep up with your excellent video's. Iain
@@GrumpyRides thanks Iain really nice to hear you’re enjoying watching. You’re right too on the curry, I didn’t think of it at the time but what a thought. Next time 👌🏻 Thank you
Hey man, I had a similar problem with those pesky alpine earplugs and although it isn't officially rated, I do use the Loop Earplug ones (they're too expensive and silly to be fair) specifically the one with memory foam. They fit pretty comfortably on a closed face helmet, and I have a Cardo plus a pretty big head (64cm - 2XL). Give them a try, I don't run without them because I'm quite afraid of ruining my hearing. Cheers and thanks for sharing the trip. I'm currently on a Sporster Iron 1200 looking into upgrading it to the Sport Glide. Pretty well rounded bike IMO.
@@bruno.myrrha thanks for the tip Bruno I’ll have a look into them for sure. With regards to trading up your sportster, I couldn’t think of a better bike to go after in the sport glide. I was an 883 owner before and whilst I absolutely loved the bike and it was certainly the entry I needed into Harley Davidson ownership I couldn’t go back now I’ve had the Sport Glide. Just the test ride I had on one I knew I’d crossed a line that I couldn’t go back on. The sport glide is everything you’d want it to be. There was nothing wrong with my sportster, I loved it but the last ride to the dealership to trade in for the sport glide was a horrendous day weather wise (there’d been a storm in the UK that weekend) and when I got to the dealer I was the only person there on a bike. I actually got a clap from some guys for turning up. There was a puddle around me in the dealership that needed a mop and bucket to clear up just while I done the paperwork… riding home in the same storm on the Sport Glide was a different league. Felt so much more planted and able to deal with it than the sportster. This will be my lasting memory of what I thought was an awesome bike in the sportster. There’s no comparison in my opinion. The sportster will always be an amazing bike with an amazing indestructible engine and hassle free ownership but… ride one of these Sport Glides or a Low Rider ST etc and you’ll love it. Thanks again for the quality feedback and for watching through. Really appreciate everything 👍🏻
Fantastic! Absolutely cracking road trip and vlog. I know how much work it takes to edit so thank you so much for putting together a great series. Shame about getting ill, but it’s all part of life on the road. Glad you got home safe. That rain did not look fun at all 😳 Hopefully see you soon for a ride 👍
Thanks Mark. It’s been a tough task editing too you’re right but it’s also a lifelong memory for me to look back on as you would say. Totally worth it.
