Your video is heartfelt and I admire you and your family overcoming all obstacles and I wish great success in your unique art. Very beautiful and warm paintings…I, too like your girl looking down painting the best. So cute!!!

    I am in week 6 and enjoy seeing other artists work that went thru Milan. Thank you for sharing, your art is beautiful! I love the colors, I enjoy working in muted colors myself. Your work is very inspiring!
    Well, back to the grind, that fat over lean painting isn't getting done by itself lol.
    Have a beautiful day everyone! Happy creating!

    Hi Julie you can prime wood or MDF panels with Rustoleum an acrylic car primer, ( do both sides as can warp if you don’t ).
    it works as good as gesso. I love painting on wood. I get what you/say about making a cradle it can be a pain. We need woodworking skills too. Another idea would be repurposing frames from second hand shops and having the wood to fit those. Love your work, keep going.

    I feel the expanse of the space, which is like a Japanese painting.

    Hi Julie,
    Love your muted, simplified landscapes with the quiet, thoughtful figures. Looks like a Japanese influence but with modern figures. I wouldn’t over complicate them, the simple backgrounds are great…I would keep the figure’s clothing more simple to. Loved the walk in the snow painting….would have been better without the stag…more modern and contemporary. That painting didn’t need the stag, it has enough presence without it. The painting you sold was stunning, very characterful and charming….loving the Japanese influence but it is still fresh and your own take on that style. I wasn’t so keen on your portraits, they don’t have the same vibe and presence. I would keep your work more simple and contemporary, they definitely have a vibe and freshness, I think you would do really well with that style …..which is something unique to YOU! Good luck …I definitely think you are onto something now with your work. I would keep pushing on with the Japanese influence but with your modern freshness. I am excited to follow your journey!!! ❤

    Hi Celina. Your art is amazing. I'm in awe! Thank you so much for this video, I just stumbled on it this morning. I started the Mastery Program 2 weeks ago, and I am super excited. But hearing you talk, I realized I do lack the motivation, an now I'm thinking.... that's so important.... what is my motivation? I need to pin point it. Have a lot of thinking to do.... Thank you again and .... pfffff..... I'm in love with your art!!!!

    Hi Julie , thanks for sharing. Your style really resonates with me. I'm in week 5 of MIA mastery, excited to find my voice. I have a question about the mountings on the rails, how are they hang on the back? thx!

    Can I use canvas sheet instead of stretched canvas for the course ?

    • @juliecelinaart
      @juliecelinaart  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      yes, but I recommend you stretch the good ones you make and want to sell because it looks more professional and will be easier to sell. Make sure tat your sheets aren't too small, it's better to practice on larger sizes
