Pedego Tech Tips - Pedal Assist Limiter

pedegoelectric... - This video explains how to change the pedal assist limiter of your electric bike using your LCD console.
In most instances, this setting will have been set when you purchased the ebike. However, to engage the pedal assist limiter, or to turn it off, turn on the LCD screen by pressing the power button and then hold the “SET” button for two seconds. The screen will become backlit (release the button at this point). Press the set button four times, and you’ll see a number 5 in the bottom left corner. When the pedal assist limiter is set to “OFF,” you’ll have a reduced top speed through all pedal assist modes. Toggle between “OFF” and “ON” by pressing the plus [+] or minus [-] buttons. Hold “SET” again for two seconds to exit the setup interface.
Note: Some models of Pedego electric bikes do not have a level 5 setting.

I have a serouos ?? I bought one of these thing without a charger for a decent price I have 4 pin prongs inside on the bottom close to the battery of the middle bike handle anyway how do I know what charger volt to buy if I have 4 little holes inside?????

My 6 year old pedego city commuter won't go down to 5 in settings, what could be causing this. The pedal assist is not working, however the throttle on handlebar does work??

Press the plus and it will go to 0
