I love your ability to not have a mental breakdown after the package theives AND flooding of your creative space(in the making). I would've lost it. 😵💫
I just have to tell you I love your videos for so many reasons. Your aesthetic has finally helped me realize what I like, and after 5 years I'm finally decorating my house. And your craft/self care videos have helped me start taking more time for myself instead of just watching tv and scrolling on my phone. Keep making videos I love them.
In a situation with flooding the most important thing once the bulk of the water is gone is air flowww. When you finally have a nice day, leave the garage door cracked, or open for a while if it doesn't do partial opening, if you can. Air flow will help drastically with preventing mold and mildew. As long as mold doesn't have time to set in in the wood/particle board furniture, it's fine to use. Just won't look perfect since the rapid expanding from the water causes permanent warping. Wish you the best and love your crafty videos!
I would put waterproof legs on the kallax shelf’s so that they don’t stand directly on the floor. Really love your self care, crafting and decorating videos 💕
I actually kind of appreciate seeing real life issues being played out real time. Seeing how you handle it and try to find the pros while still giving yourself room to be disappointed (rightfully so this is a disappointing situation) it was so inspiring. It really felt like a facetime with a friend. I am so proud of you friend. love yu
I NEVER comment on videos, but I just wanted to say.. I've been watching your channel for a long time, and your videos have helped me so much. I went through a traumatic experience several years ago, and I'm still trying to recover. As time has gone on, I now have mostly good days! But the bad still creeps in.. I've been trying to rediscover my hobbies over the last year, and watching you craft and game, has been SOO so helpful for me.. Today has been a rough day so far, but putting your vlogs on to keep me company has been really grounding for me. Your kind and compassionate energy comes through so much, even through a screen, and it's helped calm me down and feel safe (and listen, I went to yoga this morning, and that STILL didn't help as much as this video haha).. So I just wanted to say thank-you so much, for everything you do. I'm really really sorry about the flash floods.. I hope someone more knowledgeable than me can guide you in the right direction!! Maybe having some sandbags at the base of your garage door to block out the water could help, if you don't open it that much? I wish I could help more.. Good luck to you! Sending you love and light from my corner of the world, always!
HUNNN! I’m so sorry about the water damage it is so disheartening :( A tip for future floods! - Get some little leggies to attach to the furniture that touches the floor - laminate your art and/or frame it (still will look super cute) - can you get waterproof paint for the floor to seal it? - you can get silicone strips that you just stick along any corners of walls or furniture which are cheap and might help! Hope this helps, I feel your pain. But hopefully in a month or so it’ll be long forgotten! ❤ ❤️❤️❤️❤️
While I see where you are going with a craft space in your garage, it is a solid idea to make the most of the space you have. However…just know you are fighting against the odds with trying to keep all your nice things, nice inside a garage. Moisture, obviously rain, bugs, mice, bits of nature, it’s all inevitably going to be inside your space and it’s a bummer to watch nice new things get destroyed so be careful with what you leave down there - best of luck❤
The craft space looks so cute! Sadly, it may not be feasible to have it in that area. Garages are notorious for holding on to any and all moisture. You also have to ask yourself if you want to deal with the hassle of having to run and prep everything in there any time there could be rain. I hope you can find a solution that works because I love the idea of a dedicated craft space for you!
I’m in LA right now (visiting friends/family), and it’s supposed to rain tonight and tomorrow. We literally got lured out here by a promise of good weather in February. Even with the rain, I have to remember it’s snowing in Chicago. But seriously, I’m so sorry about the flooding in your craft space. I hope you get it sorted. I’m notorious for watching half your videos, commenting and then watching the rest. I just came back to say that I am so impressed that despite the flood you are still so positive and cheerful. That’s a superpower.
I am so sorry about the floods!!! that broke my heart along with you 😭😭😭 I appreciate you sharing the journey still even if it feels like a series of unfortunate events, it humanizes a bad luck event and it’s amazing how you are able to bounce back quickly and find creative solutions!! thank you for being authentic & cozy as always!! 💕💕
I love love love doing some self care to your videos. It just puts me in the self care mood. And I’m someone who tends to neglect self care pretty hard.
Regarding the kallax shelves, you can buy mini stainless steel legs to mount them on to elevate them from getting damaged again. I know it's not the most aesthetic, but it's something ! :)
I'm from Europe and let me tell you, you cannot buy a drink with €2... Not enough I'm afraid 🥲 also a coin from 2001 means it's probably one of the first ones. The Euro was implemented in like 1999-2000 if I remember correctly (yes, I'm old to have consciously witnessed this transition 🙈)
Lost in Austen!!!! Absolutely loved that series!!! Never heard anyone else talk about it. Hugh Bonneville is THE best Mr Bennett! Correct me if I'm wrong!
Hi cozy K good afternoon 🌞😃 I am feeling so happy today I spent time with my auntie Heather yesterday we did some woobles my auntie Heather is almost done ✅ with her wooble I still need to finish mine and then me and Heather are going to start a new wooble we are going to pick one out from the book it has all the woobles that we could make ❤😊 plus it had all the QR codes in it for easy access ❤😊
You should definitely get some Damp Rid, and think about getting a small wet/dry vacuum. i have the same problem in my garage, too! I bought both of these at Lowe's. Hope this helps!
Hi Cozy K I am finally back in my room my brother had a sleep over with his friend at our house 🏡 and his friend spent the night in my space so I had to sleep on the couch 🛋️ last night ❤😊 I felt cozy and warm on the couch 🛋️ I slept so good 😊 also I found some matching pj’s on Amazon I added them to my birthday list I also added a nespresso machine on my birthday list and a monos back pack a bunny phone stand I also asked my grandma for stuff for my desk and a new sweater with mushrooms 🍄 on it ❤😊
Pro tip from one working with children in school. Iron BOTH sides for stability. And then place it under something heavy so it wont bend, until it's cool down. :D ;)
My sister in law is in LA and dealt with the flooding. Her windows were leaking 🫣 I was wondering if you were affected where you are and I’m soooo sorry about your craft room!! 😭 My husband has a woodworking shop in his garage and moisture is definitely his biggest enemy. Definitely recommend trying to get anything wood up off the ground (maybe add metal legs to your furniture?) and running the humidifier when you are down there is great. I don’t know if the garage wall is made of cinder block or dry wall but there are moisture treatments/paints for both if you think the water is coming in through the wall. I really hope this was a freak weather event and not a regular thing because your craft room is so cute!!
55:55 I agree the Oregon chai is so good. Also if you’re looking for a protein packed breakfast, oats overnight brand oats + lactaid protein milk + one serving of vital proteins containing collagen. Add the milk, then the oats, then the collagen and shake. You can make it up to two nights before. So easy to get about 30-50g of protein.
So sad about the flooding :( I can't believe you've stayed so positive through it all! Thanks for still sharing despite the setbacks, fingers crossed for no more rain 🤞Also love the card! Handmade cards are my favorite
I frequently use Firesticks, and here's a handy tip for you: You can connect the USB directly to your TV, using it as a power source as long as the TV is plugged in. 👍🏼 Also, I'm thrilled I discovered your TH-cam channel! You've made it onto my list of go-to comfort TH-camrs. 🥰 Keep up the fantastic work and always stay cozy!
Your vlogs give me soooo much joy! Thank you for sharing these lovely bits of your life with us! 😊 You inspire me to bring more genuine moments of rest, relaxation and fun into my daily life. It‘s really nice to be reminded that it’s okay to just take time for myself and do my “silly little” crafts and cozy activities 😆 I hope you and your fam are well!! 💖
Yayyy! These long form vlogs are my favorite of your videos! I have been so busy recently, and watching your videos has become my favorite way to decompress. Ur the best ❤
Hi Cozy K I slept in until 9am 🕘 this morning I was so exhausted from yesterday i finally finished my wooble I am so happy Pierre the penguin 🐧 looks so cute 🥰 I even embroidered Pierre’s eyes 👀 I don’t like using the plastic eyes 👀 ❤😊
unfortunately with climate change these floods are gonna get worse and more frequent in spring and winter ☹️ people in the comments have great tips and make sure everything is dry (i’d put the kallax sideways to make sure the bottom airs out)! Best of luck and lots of love 🫶🫶
Whoop Whoop ! Thank you so much for uploading a long video today K ! As soon as i got home i got my candles out , my cozy clothes , my switch and book and got settled ! easily my all time favourite cozy content creator. Just finished binge watching your content yesterday and was sad i had nothing to watch today and then there you pop up ! Hope you have a wonderful weekend lovely and thank you for all the content you make us ! they have truly helped me on some very stressful and anxious days
Omg I live in LA too and I feel you with the flooding! My garage storage area flooded and it was WORK to clean it up. I can't believe how much water there was and it's about to rain like crazy again which is wild for here. At least from this it'll all be set up so you won't have to worry again at least that's what I've told myself 🤞🏽😅
I’m so sorry u got flooded! I lived in an old QLDr growing up and my bedroom was down stairs and got flooded every summer storm with inches of water, devastating every time, I hope everything can be saved! 🖤🖤🖤
Soooo sorry about your floods, that’s the worst! You should be able to get a stopper thing for under the garage door? It probably wouldn’t keep all the flooding away but might help especially with sandbags!
You could try using tweezers for your perler beads! I’ve found that to be the easiest way to do them. So sorry about the flooding, I’d still use the furniture as long as it’s not moldy 😂
It might help to just put plastic feet on everything that can't get water damaged or rust etc, and maybe get milk crates to stack storage and stuff on, because a layer of milk crates would allow air flow, hold it all up off the ground and similarly are made of plastic so the water won't damage them.
Sorry for all the rain you had and it was looking so good, maybe consider put some legs (maybe metal)on the cube shelving just in case of next time you get lots of rain coming in
The way my heart BROKE for you when I saw the flooding 😭💔 you are such a champ the way you handled it! I would’ve sobbed and given up lol. Sending all positive vibes for no more flooding in the future!!! ✨🌟✨
Hey Cozy K, Sorry that this has happened to you ! I just love that you keep staying positive if some things go wrong. Thank you for inspiring me to create again, after I thought I lost it and couldn't do it anymore. Keep up the good work ! 💚🍄🍁
Maybe it’s because I live in a rainy climate that’s always on flood watch, I felt that this wouldn’t end well…But at least the damage is some what minimal
Sorry about the flooding, hope future rain isn't as bad. Have you guys considered raised flooring for the garage? Also, yes keep your furniture, it will dry, hopefully
A super simple and pretty cheap way to organize your perler beads is by using a regular jewelry bead organizer you can get at craft stores and tbh prob Amazon lol. Each color can have its own compartment and you can put them in any order you want.
Hi! I love your videos! I also name spiders, lol. Sorry about the flooding! I have been through that and learned to put casters or bricks under shelves so wood type products don't warp. It will also help the shelves dry out.
Just signed up for Factor with your code. Thanks girl!! (anyone reading this be warned they are having issues w/ their free wellness shots but should be fixed soon)
Hey Kennedy! Sucks what happened in your garage. I know that Ikea came out with frames that you can place the Kallax units on and raise them up off the floor. Maybe get those so that the units and contents can’t get damaged if something like this happens again. Good luck 🙏🏽 I hope you’re having a nice weekend!
I've been wanting to try some factor meals (my trainer at the gym uses them too) and lately it's been hard to keep up with eating healthy with my mental health. Excited to finally try factor out! Thanks for the discount code and stay cozy! 💕💕💕
As someone who does flood resilience for a living, oof 💛 so sorry you're dealing with it! There are good tips in your comments already so I won't add but best of luck adapting so nothing serious gets messed up in the future!!
Hi Cozy K today is going to be a chill day I am not going to the YMCA today because I got my period and I can’t do my aqua aerobics class so I am going to walk around the mall and stretch and then eat lunch 🥗 and then go to the library 📚 and then go to Dunkin’ Donuts 🍩 to get a coffee ☕️ ❤😊
Girly!! I love getting off work and seeing a new video. 🥰🥰 Sorry about your craft space. Is it possible to move the work area farther in like where the tv was? ☹️ In case it rains again. Even you don’t get rain often, I’d say moving the work area somewhere where the flood won’t reach if it happens again. It would be so disheartening having to go through all the situating your area every time it does happen. I would be crying so I love how you always persevere!! 😭♥️
They make Bluetooth garage door openers that you can open your garage with your phone. Its super easy to install and much better than having to worry about forgetting your opener. Like $40 at Lowes or Amazon. Overall cool concept my garage is way to janky for this concept.
This is gonna be way after the fact but incase it happens again. Flip the water damaged wood cube organizer so the wet side is no longer on the floor so it can dry better. It's okay to keep as long as it fully dries with no mold. Can glue down the outside once dry. ❤
Not sure if you have renter’s insurance, but if you do, it may cover some of the flood damage in your garage Also that much water should never be coming into the garage. Your landlord may want to look into replacing the garage door
I just came across your channel. Idk how you stayed so calm/positive from people stealing your packages to the flood and buying the wrong size table plastic cover thing. I'd be balling because that stuff just happens to me all the time it's like can't I catch a break and something go right for once!? 😭😭 but I had to subscribe you have such a calming/nurturing energy to you 💚 but ofc also just know it's okay to feel anger and be sad too it's normal and an emotion we all feel 😊 also all the crafts you did in this video all came out so cute!
My old house used to flood too, the garage was at the bottom of a very steep driveway 😂 Sometimes the water was up to our knees in the garage. This is a long term solution but if your garage doesn’t back onto any other rooms/buildings you might be able to make a drain through the back wall? We used to have a hole at the bottom of the back wall of our garage so the water had somewhere to go. It was the perfect size for a rat or snake to crawl through but we never had any issues even though there was no way to close it. I guess there was nothing interesting in there for them 🤷🏼♀️ But anyway. I’m so so sorry about the damage 😢 Everything should be fine as long as it airs out, but if you can dry things in the sun that’s definitely best!!! ☀️
ohmgeee ken your videos are my inspo for my newly acquired craft room 🤗 hubby & I got a house, so you def inspire me to gather ideas for future crafts and decorating ideas 💖
perfect timing as always, im home on my lunch break (i got the post burn out job i was hoping for a month ago ON MY BIRTHDAY!!) and needed something to put on while i eat
i'm only 5 minutes in and i just really adore you. you are so cool and funny and i really admire you!! every time i watch your content i just think of how much i view you almost like a big sister friend (in a non parasocial way) thank you for being here and sharing with us!
yknow the sun is more powerful than that uv flashlight, you're good. You may also need something more powerful, that torch would take forever. Like a nail light, the low wattage ones aren't gonna do a lot
Hi Cozy K good morning 🌞 I am going to work tomorrow I am not that excited about it I need a different job at some point I am thinking of a business casual job/ being a interior designer 👩🎨 I have designed my space and it looks like a room I want to be in and feel comfortable and Cozy ❤😊 and I want to decorate other people’s spaces too 😊
Definitely put furniture on some form of risers and as long as the furniture dries out it will be fine. Also, where is the little table you were using to make the pixel art from?
I love your ability to not have a mental breakdown after the package theives AND flooding of your creative space(in the making). I would've lost it. 😵💫

I would put waterproof legs on the kallax shelf’s so that they don’t stand directly on the floor. Really love your self care, crafting and decorating videos 💕
I came here to say this. Legs would also help the bottom of the unit dry faster as it won’t be sitting on the ground.
I actually kind of appreciate seeing real life issues being played out real time. HUNNN! I’m so sorry about the water damage it is so disheartening :(
A tip for future floods!
- Get some little leggies to attach to the furniture that touches the floor
- laminate your art and/or frame it (still will look super cute)
- can you get waterproof paint for the floor to seal it?
- you can get silicone strips that you just stick along any corners of walls or furniture which are cheap and might help!
Hope this helps, I feel your pain. But hopefully in a month or so it’ll be long forgotten! ❤
❤️❤️❤️❤️
Yes! Everything in my garage is on legs or is made of metal. Metal racks are my favorite for storage.
thank youuu bestieee😭🫶🏽
@@CozyKand I just thought about a squeegee for the floor. Hope all is well. ☺️
Definitely a roller coaster 🎢 of events… this means your craft room will be so much better in the end🤎🤍🤎🤍
I don’t think you need to throw away the water damaged furniture. It will function just fine once dry! Hope everything dries out soon ❤

Can ya’ll recommend other vloggers who do these types of cozy hobby videos? I’ve watched all of Kennedy’s and want more 😂🤎
The pearler bead craft you made is the cutest 😭 Makes me wanna make a bunch of Stardew Valley animals I think they'd be adorable

Those beads were a definitely trust the process thing! Turned out amazing! Too bad about the floods, hope everything is dry and mold-free by now
Most TVs have a USB plug in the back you can use as a power source! That's what we plugged our firestick into for power.
You could try using tweezers for your perler beads! I’ve found that to be the easiest way to do them.
So sorry about the flooding, I’d still use the furniture as long as it’s not moldy 😂
Great idea with the Hama Beads on the iPad screen!
Sorry you got flooded...gutting

Can you buy some metal stalls ? Then you can sit your ikea units on them to elevate the units, so the wood doesn’t get wet again?
Love you stay cosy x
omg you are such a ray of sunshine! i'm so sorry about the floods and damage :(
awww thank you!!🤎
When you buy literally anything cozy feeling and it instantly becomes the pets😂
I love the goof. full on goofing in this video and I'm LIVING
This was so sweet to watch. A tip for shading with oil pastels to make it a little easier is using a q-tip!
Currently building the Piranha Plant Lego while watching. Highlight of my day
About the fire stick, you can plug it directly on a usb output on the TV 😊
Hey Cozy K,
Sorry that this has happened to you !
Hi Cozy K I feel so much better I got some rest and I am feeling good 😊 it’s good to recharge my energy and not be a machine for once in my life 😊❤
Watching this while gem painting was the highlight of my daay
Sorry about the flooding, hope future rain isn't as bad.
Have you guys considered raised flooring for the garage?
Also, yes keep your furniture, it will dry, hopefully
a little tip for perler bead ironing: use masking tape to get your project off the plastic board cause the heat of the iron will warp it eventually :c
A super simple and pretty cheap way to organize your perler beads is by using a regular jewelry bead organizer you can get at craft stores and tbh prob Amazon lol. Each color can have its own compartment and you can put them in any order you want.
Truee!! I’ll have to find one!
Trust me when I say, USE TWEEZERS when doing pearler beads!! so much easier , especially when u get into tight areas .
I feel so inspired to start crafting again myself!!! 😍
I have adhd + dyslexia and I'm literally always calling things the wrong word so I feel you.
I would but pressure treated 2x4s under the shelves to keep them off the floor
Hi Cozy K I just got out of the shower 🧼 and I feel nice and clean 🧽 and I am excited to see another cozy vlog from Cozy K yay 😁
I've been wanting to try some factor meals (my trainer at the gym uses them too) and lately it's been hard to keep up with eating healthy with my mental health. Excited to finally try factor out! Thanks for the discount code and stay cozy! 💕💕💕
LOLLL you are so right, we are sooooo similarrrrr. Make shift ASMR. YOU'RE WELCOME!!
LMAO🤎
That was a cute cozy letter crafts (:
Great inspiration because my bf and I's anniversary is 2/22/(22) (:
As someone who does flood resilience for a living, oof 💛 so sorry you're dealing with it! There are good tips in your comments already so I won't add but best of luck adapting so nothing serious gets messed up in the future!!
for dehumidifiers usually the filter inside is still wrapped in plastic pls make sure to check
ooo thank you, i’ll double check!
❤❤thanks for sharing and may you have no more disasters
We have a veranda with a fence and hedge along the front of it and a gate. People can't see our packages from the road so are less likely to steal
My cat was meowing back at Azula😂
Teach me your coping skills! I would've freaked from the stolen amazon package 😂 then the flooding? I would've quit all together 😭
Lolol felt!! Gotta laugh to not cry😭
Your videos are the best! I’ve been sick these last few days but your videos have been the best comfort while I get better! ❤
Not sure if you have renter’s insurance, but if you do, it may cover some of the flood damage in your garage
Also that much water should never be coming into the garage.
😭😭 but I had to subscribe you have such a calming/nurturing energy to you 💚 but ofc also just know it's okay to feel anger and be sad too it's normal and an emotion we all feel 😊 also all the crafts you did in this video all came out so cute!
your eyebrows are fleeked babe. omg . crisp. I love *muah chefs kiss
your vlogs are my favorite, i love the long vlogs!! xx
Also making sure any drains near your house are clear and don’t get blocked by leaves or other debris helps prevent flooding!
ohmgeee ken your videos are my inspo for my newly acquired craft room 🤗 hubby & I got a house, so you def inspire me to gather ideas for future crafts and decorating ideas 💖
yayyy!!!🤎🫶🏽

I’m new to your channel but I just love how you do such long videos! Thank you!
yknow the sun is more powerful than that uv flashlight, you're good. You may also need something more powerful, that torch would take forever. Like a nail light, the low wattage ones aren't gonna do a lot
You had me at Zelda in the rhumbnails
omg i love this video its so cozy so sorry about the flood😥😥
This video was so much fun! Thank you cozy K! I will subscribe to your gaming channel too!
Hi Cozy K good morning 🌞 I am going to work tomorrow I am not that excited about it I need a different job at some point I am thinking of a business casual job/ being a interior designer 👩🎨 I have designed my space and it looks like a room I want to be in and feel comfortable and Cozy ❤😊 and I want to decorate other people’s spaces too 😊
You shouldn’t caulk things while they’re wet! Or the caulk won’t stick to it and it’ll just fall out.
Definitely put furniture on some form of risers and as long as the furniture dries out it will be fine. Also, where is the little table you were using to make the pixel art from?
