How much RAM do you recommend for a photography workflow with Lightroom Classic and Photoshop on the new MacBook Pro with M4 Pro chip? I work with RAW photos with 40+ megapixels. Are there any workflows where choosing 48GB would be better than 24GB?
For photography I would say 32GB-48GB of RAM is just enough for photo editing. Because after a certain point, extra RAM won’t give you extra performance. But 32GB is recommended because, it handles the demand to work with multiple programs without running out of memory and slowing down. Hope this helps!
