Cool update 👍🏿 nice 57s
@@modelcar1589 🤙🏼🤙🏼
I love anything Tri-Five they are my favorite. Nice video on the 57. Thanks for sharing.
@@DonnieGriffin-eo2eo great kits and huge Tri Five fan as well!!! Thanks for dropping in 🤙🏼
Thanks for the tip on the ‘57 Kit. Happy building!!!
@@DonzTattoozGarage thanks for dropping by 🤙🏼
Great info Paul, definitely have to know these kits, Old and new releases, 😎👍
@@ramblers69 right! Crazy what folks will do 🤙🏼
Have a great build.
@@goforitpainting thank you 🙏
Nice 57 stash paul you can’t go wrong with a 57 nice looking cars 👍🏻..sweet looking magazine lot of nice cars
@@jrsscalemodelz4378 thank you brother 🤙🏼
Those '57's are pretty cool and I would have never thought to put newer parts in an old box and called them old. I've always wanted to attend one of those Revival type car shows. So many unreal cars. Might try to get to the Street Machine Nationals in Minnesota next year.
@@LarrysModelShop always be careful buying old kits! Car shows are a blast!!! Love seeing all the full scale stuff, gathering ideas for the small scale 🤙🏼
Great info and tips, brother 🙏 Awesome issue, as always!! 😁🤙
Thank you brother, hope the Friday is going well for you!
@@LeftCoastModelCarBuilds it is 👍 I hope yours is too 🙂
Great video brother good heads up too. A guy in my club bought a 57 kit had the old school lid on it got home, opened it and the actual kit was the blue molded one you get at hobby lobby for 22.99. Poor vato.😢
@@user-styrenelive505 oh man, that’s what I hear is happening these days, no good at all
@@LeftCoastModelCarBuilds yeah brother sad. 🤙🤙
Nice video buddy. I think the newer kits in the old boxes are something that you can se more and more in the future now rhat round 2 are re releasing a bunch of kits. I have actually seen it all the way over here! So if you are on the hunt for vintage old kits, you got to know what stuff the kit should have to wich box it has
@@KitbashedKustoms it’s crazy right!!! Have to keep an eye out!
I so enjoy these videos. You and your family are truly inspirational to this community. I have a question do you prefer lacquer or enamel I would like to hear your thoughts of the pros and cons
@@carlkandetzki9077 in general I prefer “Basecoat” paints. Automotive paint, I’ll spray chassis, interiors and engine parts and leave in base…using on bodies you then need the clear coat. If we are talking model car paints, Tamiya lacquer paint. I like MCW, both lacquer and enamel. But overall, what Jameston at Scalefinishes mostly sells is what we use most of 🤙🏼. Thank you for the kind words also 🙏
@@LeftCoastModelCarBuilds I'm sorry I should of been more specific. I was referring to model paint. I'm really thinking of trying scale finishes. Maybe giving enamel another try
@@carlkandetzki9077 A lot of what scale finishes has is basecoat/clearcoat and that is my preference, great stuff!
There were 2 versions of the pepper shaker. They were the 2nd and 3rd issues. The third issue didn’t have all the kustom parts in it
@@KrowKustoms I like that kit, especially the early ones with the old Kustom stuff!! Great parts!!
@@LeftCoastModelCarBuilds it’s probably my favourite kit of all time
Great topic Paul. Did you get what you thought you were buying and what are the tells or dead giveaways. Single kit stash add reviews are good but Original kit to re release reviews/comparisons are more informative imo. Thanks for the information. I recently picked up an original Pepper Shaker... or did I. Off I go lol.
@@chrisandjodiehager9046 thank you, I passed on what was being sold as original and in fact was not. The ones we have purchased, have all been good but you definitely have to keep an eye out. The originals should have the chopped glass, custom front and rear pieces and the headliner area of the body will have markings of where to cut if you want to chop it 🤙🏼
